Not sure it’s been said (being lazy to read all the posts) but would the drop in form have anything to do with the party that certain players attended? Has it unsettled the team morale?

Exactly this. Is as good as he thinks he is 1 in every 6 games, he had a great run of form for about 2 months earlier this season for the first time in a long time. He can get in the bin if he's causing issues in the dressing room, stick him in the U23s and training alone and sell up pronto.

Dressing room upsets would explain the awful morale recently. If he is causing problems then I'd rather he go than cause upset and potentially make others want to leave. 

 

Brendan has continually backed him too so that's incredibly disappointing and disrespectful if true.

Not only has he looked not at his best (which I attributed to struggles with injury) it has been noticeable that he has had a look on his face like he has the right hump.

 

The stuff in here doesn't come as a massive surprise.

Such a shame if it’s the case, I really like  the team having a core of talented English players. I’d much rather everyone knuckles down so they can achieve great things this season and then move on.
