I hadn’t heard of that happening with Jamie but that doesn’t mean he isn’t of course... Can you imagine him as a manager? or do you think there’s another type of job in football that would suit him?

boots60 Posted 15 September 2020 Posted 15 September 2020 I can see Vardy becoming a "Forward coach" when he hangs up his boots but not as a team manager. Assuming he becomes a bit less of a party animal while growing old gracefully, who better for a young striker to learn from?

You're probably right, on a similar note, i'm surprised that Christian Fuchs hasn't done more TV work. He'd probably be good on A Question of Sport

Many footballers are like that during their playing days, and tend to be better I. Front of camera later in life (experience, media coaching, etc).

He’s running the V9 thing so he may be picking up coaching skills there so he may turn up as a coach after he finishes his playing career.
