The European court of justice has no jurisdiction in this country now.

I think they have until the end of the year. Sunday should be fine.

Just share the price between a group of people. Why people insist on having their own subscription and or ppv is ridiculous. They then proceed to moan all the time about how much control these businesses have over our sport. Just share the cost. Less money in to their coffers and you still get the same thing.

But this is not an example of that, and you are just trying to shoehorn it in to look superior again.

More about you than me there.

I keep thinking , they probably had to set it at 15 to avoid selling short their subscribers. How much does SS & BT set you back? Never had it but assume upwards of 50 a month for both? So if it was 5 a game, it would make their regular product look crap surely? Not defending it and watch all the games personally *cough totally above board cough cough* but could be why it's so high? That and greed.

I'm surprised no-one has created a poll to see who will purchase the PPV for the villa game and who won't. (or who will wait till Sunday and then decide)......

Casablancas - can you point us to which topic the poll was under, PL Fans Groups are using the various fans polls that have been created as part of the next stage of lobbying

We're not supposed to be mixing households, but that is another example of how irresponsible it is. Encouraging people to mix to split the cost is not sensible during a global pandemic. You would have thought the PL would be doing everything it could to stop the spread.

Not happy with the cost of this but will pay it. Just glad I've found a way of downloading the Sky Box office app to my Roku stick or I would have had the additional cost of purchasing a NowTV box or stick.

Sadly, so many moving towards IPTV, what you fail to appreciate is that you will be gumming up the system and causing my picture to freeze...please consider other (elderly) users...

At what cost would you not pay, out of interest?

Your provider will likely throttle your speed if you don’t though.

you could be streaming a movie or some porn how the hell are they going to know your watching a football stream and specifically target your ip, highly unlikely

Is this ppv fee on top of your sky subscription?. So it's not just the fifteen pounds then you have to pay,  you have to pay it on top of paying  be a Sky subscriber as well ? They can do one . They have to be shooting themselves in the foot with this one, all it will do is make people look to streaming where they would not have bothered before. I hope Sky's greed eats itself.

Not sure if serious 🧐

It makes more sense with the boxing as they are one off big events that have weeks of build up so paying £15 for that is okay imo. To pay £15 to watch a single game is bonkers when there are 380 games a season. If you watched one game a week on box office that's just short of £600 for which you can easily get a season ticket for at the KP.

I still don't know why individual clubs can't take control of broadcasting their own games. It would be easy and fans would happily pay (as long as it's a reasonable price) as they'll know it goes straight to the club and not some multi-conglomerate media corporation more interested in fleecing us.I think they could even make it voluntary donations via something like Patreon and they'd still generate a lot of money. Broadcast it on Twitch or Youtube, add a chat, add donation incentives like avatars, extra videos, banners, give fandoms the chance to be optional commentators on streams... there's SO many possibilities and they are ALL better than this BS.
