This is bizarre but...
Im watching thre Fin/Bel game... "live"... Ive left the subtitles on and, heres the weird part.. the subtitles are about 20 second ahead of the game. WTF??

I just watched the subtitles tell me Lukaku scored.. 20 seconds BEFORE the picture showed it??????????

edit..ok so im a day late (a buck short) ... nevertheless.. the subtitles are well ahead

Maybe one for the “Grinds your Gears” thread, but I can’t stand the sound being ahead of the pictures in televised football matches. There was a Euros game the other day (Wales?) where it was fluctuating and it was awful. I can manage the sound being a bit behind but not even the slightest bit ahead.

We have one too. Unfortunately she speaks Spanish , so we have no idea what she's saying. I also knock into her occasionally when she's 'at home' which really seems to annoy her.

I'm finally now able to enjoy tuna wraps again. I thought you'd all be pleased with another season looming large.

I tried Sushi for the first time in my life last night. I like rice, fish (particularly tuna and salmon) and small prawns. Thought it would be nice. 

 

Turns out raw fish is just a bit gross. Managed a couple of rolls and a few bites of other stuff. The rest was minging, like the squid. Even the tempura prawns weren't that nice. Wasabi was bastarding strong too. At least it took away the taste of the fish though.

I once went into a Yo Sush! Quite drunk, with an ex (she wasn't an ex at the time)

 

We just kept picking up more plates off the turntable, asked for the bill, it was £200!
