A classic Sky Sports News attention seeking deadline day post

Although I suppose he's got to sign for someone surely :dunno: Doesn't say current top 6 so I'm sure we've not even crossed Sky's minds. Man City is obvious choice if it was true.

Please be us. The unimaginable shithousery of a Vardy & Costa strike partnership

Nevermind.

Costa, who is a free agent, wants a two-and-a-half-year deal worth around £13m over its duration. lol

He'll probably go to China, who are willing to pay certain players astronomical fees.

£100k a week

£100k a week for an experienced premier league striker

Less than Vardy is on, probably close to Nacho's wages and what Slimani was earning

Not a chance. This club has ZERO ambition. Championship fodder will do for now.

£100k for 6 months I would have no issue with, but for 2 and a half years no thanks

Costa is done at the top level, legs have gone not that he had any pace in his prime. Only a fool will give him a contract longer than 6 months.

Chelsea aren't playing Giroud and he's always banging in the goals, can't we go after him?

teams are not going to potentially strengthen rivals.

We need atleast 26 players in by the end of the window.

We won't get champions league if we don't get that at the minimum.

That exactly hasn't worked for Chelsea, though, has it? :P

Chelsea have ruled it out:

Really tough transfer window - teams don't want to let players go given how many injuries teams have had. Also, the likes of Arsenal and Chelsea won't loan to us, or very unlikely to because we're seen as a rival.
