It his body was behind his hand then it would be a different story but it wasn’t. He gained an unfair advantage with his hand so it’s correct for me. That was a penalty according to the laws “a player will be penalised for handball: if the hand/arm is clearly away from the boy and outside of the ‘body line’’ what part of those rules are unclear to Jamie Carragher and Micah Richards. I'm happy we've been given it because I obviously want us to win and because of how many have gone against us of late. But there should never be a rule in place where that is punished legitimally. Only problem is they can’t be as bad second half. Will be interesting to see what subs he makes. I reckon he banked on him taking Praet off but he’s been the best player on the park.
