The hand stops the cross going in which I think is the crucial thing. If the hand isn’t there it’s a cross that could lead to a goal. It his body was behind his hand then it would be a different story but it wasn’t. He gained an unfair advantage with his hand so it’s correct for me. However I can also understand the other point of view.

I'm sorry anyone who thinks we've been poor has either really really high expectations or is watching a different game? :dunno:

People just like to slate, we’ve done well against such a defensive side.

Sit down Carragher

Keane talks sense he thinks it was harsh but was a penalty the other two they are just bloody awful. I would love Keane to smack carragher

I agree. Micah Richards does the running motion to defend him but he's stopped running at the time of the cross.

Exactly. You'd think ex pros would be able to recognise that 🙄

They didn't even show the actual goal at half time, just the penalty decisions.

There is no doubt about it Sky Sports hates us. That was a penalty according to the laws “a player will be penalised for handball: if the hand/arm is clearly away from the boy and outside of the ‘body line’’ what part of those rules are unclear to Jamie Carragher and Micah Richards. Thank god for the voice of reason Roy Keane.😂

This gives a new meaning to ‘park the bus’.  Nuno has had the engine removed and removed the wheels.

They know we will tire second half (which must be the tactical plan) but BR has for sure his planned substitutions all worked out...........

Keane is just going by the rules. The rules might be silly and harsh but it is what it is

It's not VAR's issue though?

Both penalties, technically, have been correct. The laws instruct them to give the first one.

I don’t understand why the footballing authorities insist on making their lives difficult with regards to handball penalties. Just make it any handball is a penalty and avoid any contention.

It's not a hand ball for me, whether it's the rule or not I don't know because I've lost track of it. I'm happy we've been given it because I obviously want us to win and because of how many have gone against us of late.

But there should never be a rule in place where that is punished legitimally. It's unbelievably harsh. The thing is you can't even rely on VAR give you the right outcome anyway so it's completely pot luck.

Making a very good side look very average, even if they’ve been so poor we seemingly started to lose the zip we need for the passes. Only problem is they can’t be as bad second half.

Will be interesting to see what subs he makes. I reckon he banked on him taking Praet off but he’s been the best player on the park.

bollocks at least one more ad break after this one

And then they moan to say they only break even to justify charging £14;99 for PPV have they forgotten about the amount of adverts they throw at you at pre game during halftime and full time?

So glad today is not a PPV game !
