Robertson is a doubt too. He picked up a hamstring complaint on international duty.

I thought he played in the last Scotland game?

Edit: Just checked myself and he did.

He played the full 90 on Wednesday.

For better or worse, I have.

You can justifiably slag off Liverpool on many fronts, but generally not the ferocity of the Kop!

Liverpool is genuinely one of the worst atmospheres in the PL has been getting slowly worse for years.

Apparently Liverpool have an injury.  Can anyone confirm this?

All 25 players in their first team squad + Ian Rush, John Barnes and Neil Ruddock all out.

Jan Molby having a late fitness test.

Not when I have been there, but it's a matter of opinion so agree to disagree.

Nonetheless, it does NOT affect nor change the substantive point that crowds make a difference in football.

I haven't seen it mentioned anywhere

Even 'if' they have injuries I still think they can put together a strong and dangerous team.

When were you there out of interest? I've been there 3 of the 6 games at anfield since our last promotion and to me the atmosphere was bitterly disappointing.

That being said its relative to the opposition. we aren't really a big game for Liverpool ask a Burnley fan about the atmosphere at the kp and they would probably be dissapointed too where's a man United or villa fan would say its pretty good.

Crowds?

If you've ever been Annfield then you'll know the score. Ynwa and then its like someone pressed the mute button for the rest of the game.

I've always avoided going but don't they play their tune over the PA pre kick off and the crowd sing along?

Anyway, the BBC say they are wonderful and very knowledgeable.

It means more.

Mane cutting inside to run at Fuchs doesn't sound great, does it? Wonder if we'll see justin in the back 3.

Getting slightly worried by all the pundits talking us up for the game against Liverpool, how Bredan is up there with Pep and Klopp, and how our attack is perfectly setup to damage Liverpool's absent first choice back four. Everytime I feel confident of a Leicester win, it backfires, so I'm still erring on the side of caution abou the match and think we would do well to leave Anfield with a draw.

If we had our full strength line-up, I would put us as favourites, but the reverse is true for Liverpool.....

I hope people remember that a draw is a good result, and even if we lose it isn't the end of the world. As long as we don't roll over and lose comfortably without laying a glove I'd be satisfied enough and move on.

I'm pretty sure we'll follow a similar to path to most of our away games, we'll attempt to keep it tight early on and catch them on the break.  Liverpool forwards about movement so hopefully we can have numbers to get in the way of that. It will be interesting to see who he goes with as the attacking midfield, its the only position where there are genuine choices. Would like the pace of Barnes/Under on one side but I do think he will go with Praet and Maddison like at Arsenal, but with Vardy centrally this time.

Little has been mentioned about whether Castagne is fit, if he is then its choice on which side he and Justin are.

I think we'll come away with a point.

If there is ever a time to be playing them, with our form and their key players missing and no fans it is now.

Annoyingly set up though - we win and it’s because of their missing players, they win and Klopp is a legend for doing it with players missing.

A win would put our marker down as serious contenders for this season.
