More than likely but surely he should be an emergency back up and we could have set up without him for 90 mins?

I don’t blame him one bit. I know, as a man of 40, your legs go and you don’t really remember this fact when you play football. I used to be a well timed tackle type of defender and now I am a constant cropper. Lol

I said it last season. Don't get why he's still here. HOWEVER he has done ok this season but he's played too many games now. No way should he have played tonight, perfect game to rest him.

He’s finished. He might do a job when we’re sitting back against a side like Arsenal, but when we’re playing a higher line he’s had it.

Another easy scapegoat. Has filled in brilliant this season and would have been screwed without him at times.

Got to blame Rogers for picking him tonight. We didn't need the extra defender. Fuchs should have been rested.

He's not past it, he's a back up player who should be used sparingly on the left of a back three. Thomas should be the back-up left sided defender. No idea why he went off instead of Fuchs.

Shouldn’t be starting a game in a 3 at home to Fulham! He’s been a good servant but this game is the first time I thought he looked past it. Against a poor Fulham team as well

I love the bloke but yes he should have hung up his boots last season

For us to be so short defensively as to have to rely on the likes of Fuchs (and Morgan sometimes) is criminal really.
