Leeway wouldn't solve anything - it would just move the point that they look at. It would be very difficult to measure with the tech they're using, as well.

Tactical switch changed things massively - went from 3-5-2 to 4-4-1-1 and swapped Justin and Albrighton on the flanks. Maddison got more into the game playing in a free role, with Justin dominating the right side from full back. 
 

Maddison will get a lot of plaudits but what a performance from Justin. Man of the season so far.

The change from Rodgers has completely turned the game, fair play for doing it sharpish and being proactive about it rather than persisting.

 

Justin has been unbelievable and as soon as Maddison gets his tail up he looks a different player - gets a lot of stick for being "arrogant" but I think he's one of the biggest confidence players we've got.

Class performance from the boys in blue. This is a dominant performance. Justin given Dan Burn all end of problems. He's been brilliant. Maddison has shut up a lot of doubters.

 

Changes at 60mins to keep legs fresh for Wednesday.

 

They will come out a bit start of second half but we can get a couple of more.
