Along with JJ absolute beast tonight MOTM

 

If JJ doesn't get recognised by England it will be a travesty, Only complement i can give him is that we haven't really missed  Ricky P this season.

 

On a side note how good was it to see Ricky P back.

Refreshing to see him in acres of space on the left, and not really give a shit. As opposed to getting excited, and then seeing an aimless ball lofted in.

Said it at the end of that Man Utd. game in the summer - to miss out in such an agonising, slow-motion car crash of a way was going to be the making or breaking of the lads. The signs this year really have been encouraging. It looks like that let-down matured a lot of our young lads and helped build rather than further shatter our mentality.

I'm still not sure we've completely lost our soft underbelly - those home losses early on stung, and it was the second round of games that ruined us last time - which are incoming after Brentford. But if we can keep up this rich vein of form, having navigated some tough, tough fixtures already, and get to that Liverpool game next month still in and around the top spot, I'll be quietly confident of the top four at least this time around... if not something even more special. :celebrate:

That was special.

 

One of the most confident, convincing and - yes - comfortable wins against a ‘big’ side that I can remember.

 

And with our star striker totally out of sorts.

 

So many great individual performances today - and Maddison carried it on into his post-match interview - but for me the man who makes this team tick is Youri Tielemans. I don’t think there is a better all-round central midfielder in the league right now. His choice of pass is matched by its timing and precision. He’s our Xavi, our Toni Kroos. What a player he is!

Lost for words for a change. Absolutely top draw all over the field.
We are showing what I knew we could do this season and really push for the title.

I could go on for hours about every individual but I’ll rather just say this:

our best 11 Is the best 11 in the league

this is the best team we’ve had in our entire history.

Fantastic times!!

I think it would be a massive travesty but from a selfish point of view, I weirdly quite like the fact we’re underdogs, we have players that are better than the standard 11 for England but they are dismissed.

 

It annoys me massively the plaudits are hardly given because it’s Leicester and not a ‘top 4 team player’ but I just enjoy it more.

 

Feels like the players feel the same and end up giving more to prove a point and we reap the rewards.

 

Winning the league was amazing and that wasn’t a fluke, but it’s seen as fluke by everyone else, but we’re a serious team with serious players and serious ambition.

 

We really should cherish where we are at the moment, hopefully there are many more years to come of big success and I think there will be.

 

But seriously we need to enjoy it.

 

This is our Leicester City and we’re top of the ****ing Premier League.... again!

Defensively unreal tonight. Well organised, hard working, strong but it wasn't only the defenders. The midfield and the forwards put in an insane amount of work. I lost count the amount of times we won the ball back within 5-10 seconds of turning over possession. Phenomenal. 

 

The last 2 games have shown that we are one of, if not THE best all round teams in the league. Well organised, hard working, dangerous going forward and comfortable on the ball. 

 

I'm really trying NOT to get carried away but reading what I've just written back, I'm about as bad at it as Chelsea are at defending.
