I still dont get why our own fans want our players playing for england, thats the first step to them leaving the club.

 

As for the game, as well as recent ones we are looking much better now, faster movement of the ball, more pressing and winning back in opponents half.

Ndidi is the best defensive midfielder in the Premier League right now. Every single time he goes in for the ball he comes away with it, it's unbelievable to watch.

Used to be that good players left City so they got more notice taken of them playing for a big team

nah the one where vardy wondered up to the two on the pitch after we won the title. most genuine interview ive ever seen.

One interesting thing to note about tonight is that although we had only 35% possession, the average position of each of our players was very high up the pitch, in fact 7 of them were in the Chelsea half, compared to only 5 Chelsea players with an average position in our half.

 

Having 3 rapid defenders has enabled us to push right up the pitch when out of possession, squeezing the play and limiting passing options for the opposition who know that they will find it hard to get in behind us with pace. Neville was talking about the way Liverpool and Man City push up quickly when the opposition pass backwards. It's something we did today very effectively and is the sign of very good coaching, I think.

Wouldn't take Mendy over Kasper any day. He has plenty of errors in him from what I've seen so far. Would probably agree with the other 2 but I hate to say it as Evans and Albrighton were again superb tonight.

It really does amaze me just how good we actually are. I feel like we’ve just beat Chelsea without even taking the handbrake off playing in 2nd or 3rd gear.
