Just past the halfway stage of the season, who would you award the following to:

 

  • Player of the Year
  • Young Player of the Year
  • Goal of the Year
  • Performance of the Year

Player - Maddison or Barnes

Young player - Justin or Fofana

Goal - Maddison vs Brighton or Vardy vs Man City

Performance - Spurs (A) or Man City (A)

Hard to say at this point.

 

POTY would have definitely been Vardy 7 or 8 games ago. Now I'm leaning towards Tielemans.

 

Theres several players in the mix who could easily become the stand out in 3 months time.

 

People always seem to base it on a small period of good form though.

Realistically Player has to either be Youri or JJ.

Young player JJ or Fofana

Goal is either of Maddison's against Brighton or Man City, or Vardy's at Man City.

Performance has to be City right?

Barnes' goal against Leeds was a thing of beauty, but it won't be as highly rated because we then went and lost.

 

Player:  JJ 

Young Player: Barnes

Goal: Maddison v Brighton

Performance: Man City away

 

 

 

 

Edit.  Youri should get a special mention, he has been immense.

JJ's goal last night was more of a beautiful move IMO
