Very much like that Birmingham cup game at the same stage of the competition last year, we were so pedestrian.

I'd like to apologise to Daley-Campbell though who did a solid job and it was nice to see a full back with strength. I'll perhaps learn to give players a chance, Perez can bollocks though.

I agree, I never saw anything in him in the U23s but he was very adequate to say the least.

Very poor quality game, the 3-4-3 really doesn’t suit us as we always end up playing a flat back 5, we don’t really have specialist wingbacks to play it, hopefully we don’t see this again.

Hopefully this performance will shut up the Under fan boys, dear god he is a frustrating player, no way are we spaffing £20m+ on someone who only uses a right foot to stand on.

Fair play to Daley-Campbell, faded in 2nd half, will have to work on fitness to keep up with full men’s game, season out on loan next season etc

This attitude boggles my mind, he was shit in that game. Are we not allowed to criticise players for having a bad game? It doesn't make you some sort of superfan because you don't slag players off ever.

Well that tells me everything I need to know

(Constructive) criticism is needed in football and completely fair. The abuse Kelechi bandwagon that was raging on for weeks was pathetic and he wasn’t half made into a terrible scapegoat. If you think that I’m on about ‘fair criticism’ for Kelechi in relation to solely the palace game then I assume you haven’t been on twitter or foxestalk over the past 2 months.

Perez is getting the same treatment now. Poor performances justify criticism. Not personal abuse. If people could put together arguments as to what they think rather than just calling Perez and Iheanacho shit cvnts that would help

Great goal in the end, finally from a corner, a quick one taken by Under to Tielemans for a fantastic cross catching Brighton off guard. Finally, we take a quick corner without Maddison slowly strolling to the corner flag, wait for the defence to get set up and then hit the first man. (By the way, it was not good of Maddison to muck around with the ball after Tielemans placed it before Tielemans took an earlier freekick when others would let Maddison all the time in the World to focus and get ready for a freekick).

Otherwise, I thought we did much better after Nachos and Maddison came on. Maddison had a few good flicks and passes and Nachos was lively. Hamza was solid but again he only looks backwards - he needs to look forward more if he wants to move to the next level.

Finally, very worrying with two more injuries especially that of Justin 🤞

We are through although no idea how after that turgid performance.   Our current efforts don't bode well for the weekend, can see a proper hammering coming our way if things don't improve massively.

Cliche incoming.......Top teams always find a way to win

Dire game to watch and can't really say either team deserved to win it over 90 minutes but that's football , only takes a second to score , only good thing for us was no extra time and a run out for the fringe players , Justin's injury looked pretty bad , good player that boy hope it's not so bad as it looked .

Gutted but well done and good luck for the rest of the season .

Brighton defended well a strangled the life out of Leicester tonight, just one moment of lack of concertation cost Brighton.

You guys played reasonably well and looked pretty sharp up until the key moment. Best of luck too!
