Tottenham out of the Europa League and the race for the top 4, how long does Mourinho have? When will Levy come sniffing for Rogers?

No.

He can't afford to pay Mourinho off and why would Brendan go there?

Spurs are in a worse position than us, on and off the pitch.

Kane will want to leave to win trophies.

Levy has a hire and fire reputation.

They are financially fvcked after building the stadium. Especially after Covid and the inability to hold NFL games.

Calm your tits.

Would cost Spurs an absolute fortune to sack Jose and would cost a fortune to get Brendan and his team out of Leicester. Not a chance is this happening. If they sack Jose they will get somebody who is out of a job for a cheaper option.

Let's all be real. London club with serious financial clout and a massive stadium (arguably one of the best in Europe).

I hope they don't come calling but if they do it make be difficult for BR to say no.

Serious financial clout? They are in debt up to their eyeballs and have very little financial clout and when they miss out on champions league football again, they will be even worse off. I'd be amazed if Brendan left us for Spurs. I honestly think only Manchester x2 and Chelsea he would leave us for in this country.

Most of the media recently has been about their focus being on other managers. Nagelsmann is their first choice.

It’s not like he could go to Spurs and take a number of our squad to rebuild the project there - because they couldn’t afford any of our players that might improve them.

Get an early bid in for Kane now.

Make it known that we're in for him, even if we're not.

Screw the London press over before the Brendan stories start.

Double bluff the baskets😉😄

Honestly I think the spurs job would be one of the easiest in football.  Sort out the back line and they would be really good. Instead of bringing in Bale they should have added a decent cb to replace Jan V and prepare for getting rid of TA at the end of this season.

For example if they had signed Fofana and Tarkowski.  Imagine how good they would have looked in a 4 2 3 1

But this is spurs and its all about the commercial optics... horrific decision making from them in recent times.

He'll keep Jose as long as their still in with a decent chance of getting a Europa Spot, then assess in the summer. Rodgers has better prospect of achieving something at Leicester over the next few seasons. Spurs are skint until their debt situation improves and Kane won't want to stay forever while their not challenging for trophies.

Are we going to have a thread like this every time a “big club” lose a game???

If we want to be part of the big boys in the league we really need to stop panicking every time there may be a job coming up.

Simple answer to the question is no.

Spurs can’t afford to pay off Jose and pay for BR.

BR has no reason to abandon what he is building here to move there.

Spurs are not now and never have been a massive club. They are far closer in size to us than they are to Liverpool or Manchester United.

Spurs can’t afford to sack Jose and they definitely can’t afford to snatch Rodgers. They’re in huge financial trouble as it is, finishing outside of Europe will be a catastrophe for them and they’ll have to start selling their best players.

wonderful.

Are Spurs, big enough to attract our manager/players? Arsenal are but not Spurs imo.

Nothing will ever surprise me in football, Rodgers did after all quit Celtic for us at a strange time.

Plus they owe the Bank of England £175 million payable this April but I understand that can be rolled over for another year.

1. We were an absolutely massive step upwards, all silly Celtic banter aside.

2. It wasn't really a strange time, he was coasting, he had nothing left there to prove, he'd won basically everything on easy mode and a seriously attractive job in the Premier League was offered by a highly upwardly mobile club with resources and a high potential squad.

Tonight’s result has significantly reduced that clout. They currently have two huge loans out and a stadium which was financed to host events outside of football. All while carrying a huge wage Bill including amounts for Bale.

They are financially fcuked
