Betting has been suspended on Betfair don’t know how much of an indicator that is that something is happening

Remember the odds are for next manager to be sacked, doesn't mean an imminent sacking.

I literally said he was just beginning with the deflection and blaming the board etc and it was going to intensify every game until he gets the payoff he wants. Right on cue next game it's the fans fault as well. 🤡🤣

Can’t wait for the next game! Should have an army of banners with Rodgers out!

Surely just people piling on him to get the boot

How can anyone read those comments and not see right through them as the incoherent ramblings of a failure only out to protect himself. How has he shohorned signings into it again? 🤡

Surely the only way forward is for Top and the board to publicly state they are unhappy with Rodgers and would like to replace him as soon as possible.

It's very unorthodox but it lays the blame firmly at Rodgers feet and the supporters will side with Top. If Rodgers decides to stay, he is more or less admitting it's because of the money.

If he's still in the job come the Villa game we need to be singing anti-Rodgers chants all the way through. This man is going to put the future of our club in jeopardy to enrich himself even further.

Reducing standards again.

It’s the same ****ing players Brendan! Except Kasper! You’ve had Fofana for all of 50 odd games dickhead!!

I thought our fans were pretty decent in the circumstances. Plenty of gallows humour, but hardly any pressure directed at the players. More a case of sadness at the extent of our plight. Left a few minutes early to avoid train queues at Falmer. Only done that two or three times in close to 50 years, but couldn’t bear to watch much more after 80 or so minutes. In fact that’s the earliest I’ve ever left a game in 50 years.

What’s all this great man management we hear about? He’s destroying whatever morale we have left at the moment.

Maddison looked semi distraught after today.

Throw his transfer talk back at him, tell him we will not allow further malaise anbd misdirection.

Now is the time for board to say, "It has clearly not gone as we would have wished, but now is the time to pull together and use strong management to move forward and reignite our season with the exceptional personnel we already have"

And sign off with "Yeah, Danny Ward really is the pits isn't he?"

Nah, keep quiet. If the Villa board hear all the negativity they might change their minds about paying his release clause when they want to replace Gerrard...

It amazes me on facebook too. I get called out continuously for not being a true fan all because i want him out.

Remember how it was when we sacked Ranieri, lots of people mostly accidental bandwagoners or "Leicester is my second team" fans who had no clue what was going during his second season went ballistic over that decision. It can't be worse than that surely.

Besides, Claudio was a legend and a true gentleman. Rodgers is just a spineless overachieving plonker.

I hope and expect him to go by tonight or tomorrow.

That's not changed for over 12 months now and it's not happened yet so at the same time, I think i'll be disappointed.

So, going forward, if they're not going to make the decision and he's still in charge for the next game, I suggest they fight fire with fire, release a statement of intent, a 'guarded but scathing' vote of confidence (Contradictory I know, but much like an employer can't give a bad reference, they can word things in a certain way).

This puts pressure upon Rodgers, it might also push him into taking a cheaper payout with a mutual decision to protect 'Brand Brendan', his ego and reputation.
