I really like Gosens' personality as well - he praised Atalanta and their supporters after the game. But with a family type of environment, centre of excellence training facilties, a club with increasing financial clout, current international stars littered here and there that he'd know of and lastly we have likely football formations that would suit him to a tee. It's the CL and EL that are pivotal to his decision, but here's to hoping he just wants a genuine club that's on the up and who knows he'd get a good contract compared to his current one. I've been through this loads but the fee was £30 million. Not sure why our fans can't accept we overpaid for a player. John Percy the messiah himself confirmed it. I have no idea to be honest, from what was reported we met his release clause which was around £30 million so don't see why add-ons would be involved. I doubt we paid £30 million upfront, it would be paid over a number of years but that's just payment terms.
