He changed the game for Portugal against Hungary at the Euros, his pace and pressing ability would suit us although admit I haven't seen alot of him.

I didn't see that one.

I haven't seem massive amount of him to be fair.

But the fact he is 28 and has played in Liga Nos for a long time without being pick up by a club in any of the major leagues is a bit of a red flag.

Giving me scary flashback to Adrien Silva, think I'm scarred for life by that transfer.

I read on Twitter that the team has been interested in Jhon Lucumi in the last few hours. Is this for real? If so, I think it's a signing that could surprise.

Watching transfer talk on sky sports...Roma are interested in signing Nacho apparently 🤔 erm, no, not going to happen!

I'd sell for 40 million and spend the money on the right hand side. Sorry but I would.

But then we'd need to sign another striker as well. And we don't need to sell to buy the winger everyone wants. Madueke is available for 30M apparently. If we want him badly enough, we will pay it without selling anybody.

I'd want a bit more then that but I'm in the same boat, in 4 years he barely performed until just before his contract was coming due. It could be he's finally clicked or it could have been just a hot streak so I'm yet to be convinced

But we would need to sign another striker too. A Vardy or Daka injury or BOTH and we are screwed.

He’s not been first choice striker for the past three years when he has played come on as a sub his goals to minutes ratio is really good.

it was only 6 months before that he didn't even look like a professional football at times

He was below par that’s for sure, but it’s clear he has talent and we have stuck with him and now he is playing more regularly he is producing the goods. He’s still young in terms of being a premier league striker (24 )in a couple of years time he could be a lethal striker at this level.

Now they’ve almost signed Abraham don’t think they’ll be following up on Nacho .

Not sure if this warrants its own thread. This guy is extemely highly rated and they’d be mad to let him go IMO. Barca should be building their future midfield around him

he won’t agree a deal and Barca are desperate for cash. They won’t let him leave for free next summer.

got to be a few on their way out for us to consider him though…

West #Ham & Leicester #City are both interested in taking Callum Hudson #Odoi on loan for the 21/22 season. #Chelsea are actively looking to seal a loan for the 20yo. #WHUFC #LCFC

That seems very plausible. Usually we aren't the type of club that would loan a player (especially from a league rival) without the option to buy, but given Fofana's injury we might not be able to buy someone this summer. It would be better to have another winger in the squad over no winger at all.

Hudson Odoi's an interesting one because for all the hype around him when Bayern Munich tried to buy him he's not really delivered. He's got the talent though! Would be a better pickup than Dan James, although personally I would still take James over no winger at all.

Basically just sign a winger Leicester!

I would take Odoi or James.

I take Odoi just to stop West Ham getting him

If West ham get Odoi and Lingard they could be very strong prospect for 5th

I rate him tbf. Needs a glamour-less move to get going again.

Would they loan to us after Big Dan’s dressing room escapades??

Because our money is as good as anyone else's

Would take your arm off for Hudson-Odoi and an option to buy. Genuinely think he's a great player and he's being wasted at Chelsea because he just isn't a wing back.

Would be a good loan, but I wouldn’t want us to do it without an option to buy

An issue is that his wages are stupidly high for someone who hasn’t really achieved or done much in his career so far - £120k a week!

There are much cheaper options out there than KHO in my opinion although he would improve our team no doubt. I suspect we would try to pluck someone from the championship rather than take him so Brookes or Lookman maybe.
