filbertway Posted 1 June 2021 Posted 1 June 2021 If I was an Everton fan I'd be delighted that there was the chance of sacking off that awful football for the chance of seeing the team actively try to score goals. 1

So Chelsea even admitted breeching the rules and the FA had said if they do it again they'll dock points. And instead just another fine? I would love a team like Burnley or Palace to start getting into scraps just to see if the FA would be consistent with them. I generally don't care about a bit of pushing and shoving by a bunch of millionaires, the whole thing is a bunch of nothingness, but it's the way it highlights the incompetence of the FA that winds me up. Say what you want about the Super League but the owners of the big clubs aren't wrong about how badly football is run. 2

StanSP Posted 1 June 2021 Posted 1 June 2021 They can't even negate the loss with success in league or cups. Regressed since the start of the decade.
Hollism Posted 1 June 2021 Posted 1 June 2021 Blimey I missed that Nuno left Wolves. When did that happen? So currently there are four teams in the league with no manager. Everton Wolves Spurs Palace Rumours of Potter going to Spurs would leave Brighton without so that’s 1/4 of clubs changing managers over the summer. Pretty mad.

They’ve won 15 major trophies in their history (9 leagues, 5 FA Cups and a Cup Winner’s Cup - I’m not counting Community Shields until we’ve won one). We've won 5. And 80% of those came since Everton last won one. 26 years ago.
