PR on all sides here absolutely crap.

His statement is barely edited and the idiot from the club that labelled him as he did is potentially only de-valuing their asset.

Daft all round.

This. can't imagine 'life changing' would refer to an English club or finance

60-80k a week in wages + a nice signing on fee would be pretty life changing for most

...wouldn't life changing be relative!!!

I doubt the term 'Life Changing' would be used if he was referring to an offer made by another club in this country. He's clearing referencing the Saudi offer.

...a five year contract at £80k per week would fall into that category, you would think, we could offer that!!!

Fab obviously doesn’t know who the offer is from, or he would say it you’d think. Pretty likely it’s the Saudis though.

he has actively said its not the Saudis

Interesting. He knows who it isn’t, but not who it is then. My understanding is that his connections come from the agent side of the game, so he may know very little.

Edit: his agent is exactly swimming in clients. MP is the only notable name on a list of 10 players total, all Brazilian.

I think he's said he's not going to Saudi - Not that the offer wasn't from the Saudi's

Might be wrong

it is possible the club who made the bid asked him not to reveal it was them. find it hard to believe he would be able to come into so much information, without gaining the trust of the clubs who the info is about. Its possible its a club he has a good relationship with, they have asked him not to mention their names, so he hasnt. of course this is all conjecture.

We’re gonna get him dirt cheap aren’t we

I'd not be surprised to see us send them Sowah on loan for a season and we have Pereira.

...probably explains why they have taken a not too aggressive stance in this situation!!!

A more experience agent would, i suspect, have forced the hand of one of the prospect buyers by now.

I guess once you have a big enough platform, clubs come to you if they want to apply public pressure. You’d imagine a lot of transfer rumours are tools to apply pressure to potential buying clubs.

In the UK he will miss 60% in tax and NI, in Saudi he won't. £20m compared to £8m over 5 years might be life changing.
