He is so desperate to leave… we SURELY have to get involved

I don't see where he fits in at West Ham, who will surely go for Lingard in the next week or two.

Club will go nowhere near him if that's his attitude.

I’m not saying it’s a perfect place to move by any stretch, but I won’t be SO annoyed to see him going there.

I mean, I’m not going to wake up every morning crying into my coco pops, but it shows a real lack of personal ambition if he’s willing to go to a country where football was discovered about 4 minutes ago.

And where you can't get garried.

It's one thing to want a transfer but another to fail your contractual (and fan opinion) obligations by refusing to play. If this is true I'd rather we steer clear.

Fofana wasn’t exactly an angel.

Never refused to play, train nor did he fall out with the manager. He must have done something quite bad for a manager to react like that.

I mean, if you knew Brendan Rodgers barmy army were interested to would kick up a stink and want to leave….

The new post BR foxes recruitment player leverage tactics. I wouldn't complain. I'd be a bit of a hypocrite though...

Although he would improve the starting 11, would he not be the worst player in it? If we were to have our 10 strongest players and then him I’d say he’s still the worst, which suggests he might not be the best signing. He’s not going to improve much more either.

I’m sure we could rustle up 15m if we wanted him

We need to start a gofundme, the sleepless night are already kicking in at the thought of Perez out wide right.

I think he would fit us so well! I also think he probably has to kick up a fuss to move as WBA probably aren’t desperate for 15-30 mil and would happily keep him to get them promoted

....not saying that he has downed tools, just that the club believes at this moment he is in no mental condition to perform for their club!!!

Doesn’t sound like Pereira has done anything bad really, didn’t want to play in games so as to avoid getting an injury and made it clear to the manager he wants to leave, and the manager is now focused on using players who will be in his squad next season

Plenty of players have done what Pereira has in anticipation of getting a move

Sounds like Lingard has binned off moving to them

To be fair I reckon the training ground was enough to put him off. It's one of the worst set ups out there. Apparently they only have non heated outdoor pitches so if it gets too cold they simply can't train, or at least are confined to a gym.

Or maybe Lingard can't get the wages he would demand at any club other than Man U.

This is great news for us. I was shocked he managed to pull some form together but it really was his goals that put them up there second half of the season.

He did help WH overachieve last year, but they do have some good players in that squad. They’ll also go after other targets, which will include Pereira, so not that great for us.

Fofana had one ill-advised interview, but he never downed tools. In fact, he played with a bum knee.

Harry Kane hasn't reported for Spurs training today in an attempt to force his move through, apparently, which is something he was previously reticent to do to avoid souring his relationship with Daniel Levy and the Spurs fans. So, it's something even the 'good guys' do in order to get their move. I'm sure doing what Pereira's done isn't a mark against his character.
