YES!

Bottom of the article mentions cost up to £30m

West Brom snapped up Pereira on a permanent deal from Sporting for a fee of £8.25million last summer following a successful loan spell in 2019/20.

Now the club are expected to demand up to £30m for the playmaker and around £20m goalkeeper Sam Johnstone as the Baggies target an immediate return to the top-flight.

Said similar in the Twitter rumours thread. This would be a good one for between £15-£20mill, no more than that. He would give us another spark on our right hand side and through the middle.

Yeah? But still as good as both Maddison and Perez.

Wasn't knocking him, just adding context.

Maddison - 8 goals (no pens), 5 assists in 28 games.

Perez - 2 goals, 1 assist in 22 games.

So yeah Pereira would in theory be a brilliant addition to the side. But this really highlights how poor Perez has been this season.

Oh yeah I fully agree. If he could play the role that Perez does in relation to game time then he’d be a solid addition.

Yes, but depends on the price

Article suggests he has a relegation clause of around £20mill, you'd think we could maybe sneak below that with add ons or a pick of loan players next year.

Edit: "remains unclear whether his deal contains a relegation clause though with West Brom anticipated to demand up to £30m for the playmaker"

Yup we should stay clear at that price.

At that price we should be all over it.

The journalist who published the article has suggested he could have a relegation clause.

hahahaha if we snag him for a bargain relegation clause the baggies will be raging.  jonny evans,  vardy bagging every time we play them... we're going to be that annoying club for them

BTW, im all in for this. He is actually class. He would settle so much faster than Trincao.... I hope we get this done. He'll be worth north of 60m after 1 season under BR
