Are you an @An Sionnach in cahoots?

Can't say we have ever met but he is probably right. We have the money but we don't want to spend it. Almost a religion in Bangkok. Compare its skyline with Kuala lumpa.

Not sure where the Skyline of KL fits in here?

Anyone who goes and plays over there in their early to mid twenties is bizarre. Worse than going China. Fcuk him

Financially sorts his family for years to come, if I was him I’d do the same thing

What?  And the £65k a week for 4 years here wouldn’t be enough to pull his extended family out of the favellas?

You have one career and you’re going to be mega wealthy either route…. Play in a meaningful league and have a meaningful playing experience

Earn more money abroad, leave for free when contract runs out and come back to Europe with clubs begging for you.

not all players idolise playing in the prem as much as you’d think, it’s a short career and sometime money talks and not the idea of playing in a “meaningful league”.

I suspect you’re right…. I just find it bizarre and would never be a decision I’d consider (if I were 20 years younger or any good at football)

No, we're not spending €45m on Berardi. Less than €30m on Madueke.

Why would clubs be begging for a player who had spent years playing in Saudi Arabia, however good they were before they went?

This guy is the real deal. His stats for an awful WBA side are brilliant. I appreciate that money doesn’t grow on trees, and we have just built a new training ground, but we have to break the bank and get this lad. I genuinely believe we are a RW away from top 4!

Exactly this. If we does sign for Al Hilal, it shows he doesn't have the right mentality or philosophy for our club.

If the option is Perez or Dan James on Loan for a season, what would people go with?
