Had the same from a Forest fan (yeah, the audacity) this morning. He then proceeded to tell me what the offside rule should be.

Feeling rough, but was worth it up the city

All I wanted at the outset was a performance - I didn’t expect us to win it but wanted to feel proud at the end of it. I could tell immediately the team was on it, which was amazing as let’s face it, emotional investment from the players and manager is what makes football special, as us fans are hugely emotionally invested. That’s the connection, that’s what makes football what it is.

 

I was happy at half time, and knew we had a chance. I almost posted before we scored that we had it, it was ours to win. A feeling in my bones maybe, and I’m normally Mr Pessimistic!

 

But to actually do it, and witness it, and see how much it cared to the players, and BR, and to see the fans.  Wow. Throw in the side stories - Vichai, Top, the ESL farce, Lineker and you have yet another LCFC fairy tale.

It just felt like our day the whole way through, maybe hindsight speaking but the whole day I thought it was ours and was so special throughout
