Other than Ben Chilwell’s “equaliser” in the FA Cup Final against us, I think that is the most celebration of a chalked off VAR goal I’ve seen.

 

Chielini must have known it hit his arm... why go so nuts about the goal?

I think it'd be very difficult to just stop and not celebrate, even if he knew it hit his hand. I'd imagine the passion and heat of the moment is massive, like it is when you're at a game.

I'm an Englishman with ancestry from no other country that I know of but I spent my university years in Wales, have been to Scotland a few times and been to Dublin once but never stepped foot in NI.

 

I'm rather fond of all the home nations as well as the Republic of Ireland. I think they should all be our closest mates but also our biggest rivals (i.e. I'll be well up for us beating any of them but otherwise I do want them to do well).

 

I'm well aware that loads of people in those countries hate the English (and the reasons why) and vice versa but honestly I don't feel any bitterness towards them. I like them and most of the people I've met from those countries are bloody lovely. If that's embarrassing then I guess you'll have to be embarrassed for me because I'm not.
