....prove my point....we do not need to have Coutinho for exposure!!!

If it was not for his wages, perhaps all of Europe would be tempted to pick Coutinho up. That was not the same for Daka, great to pick him up but not a fair comparison.

ofcourse we need him for exposure!! more exposure the better regardless where it comes from.

I’d also like a Ferrari and a house but I’m not sure having both is realistic…

So who is who in this analogy? Is Madders the Ferrari or the house

****ing hell now you've done it! How many of these can we get through! I'd like a woman who admits she's wrong from time to time and Laura Woods on the weekends. Although I suppose none of those are realistic. 😂

Am I the only one who’d be excited if we got him?!

Nope, I would be! But it won’t happen sadly.

If we can find a way to get him here without financially helping Barcelona, then of course I’d want him. But Barcelona’s behaviour has been disgusting for a very long time and I wouldn’t want us to help them get out the mess they created. They need to suffer.

No, I certainly would be. But I'll be shocked if it happens.

I mean if we some how got him and Vardy and Maddison regained fitness and form, we'd be title contenders.

This squad is becoming as talented as my Europe conquering 2021 squad on Champ Man back in the 90s. I remember reaching this year thinking "imagine if we actually ever became this good" and it looks like it's actually happening!

Even if we don't sign him, what a time to be a Leicester fan!!!

As unlikely as it is to begin with, I don't see Coutinho coming in unless Madders goes out.  Yeah both guys are hurt a lot, but it's hard to envision a formation where they'd both be on the pitch from the opening kick.  Would you make a financial move this risky to bring in a guy who can't tactically co-exist with one of your core players?

Just have these 6 rotating like a cycling peloton

Vardy Iheancho  Dakka

 Maddison Barnes Coutinho

Yeah well, it's an ITK after all  😂 has a good following and has got a lot right before, regardless, unless it's from Fab or better yet the club I'll always be sceptical.

Tbf they post enough crap for a few things to stick. A broken clock is right twice a day after all

'Football Club brings in expensive crock on a punt'.

I got starry-eyed when this was first mooted, but think of the potential discord and disgruntlement a move like this could mean. Lifeline for him - death wish for a club with, up to now, no real egos strutting around...well, bar Madders and Perez's minor strutting.

This has too much potential for going wrong rather than going right. City are in the right groove at the moment and the place Coutinho might fill belongs to someone with potential and no 'previous'.

Granted he could mean the difference between reaching that vaunted fourth place, but would you bet more than a twenty on it happening?

If the wages are sorted and don’t ruin any structure and You still don’t want Coutinho playing for us next season, give your head a wobble.

...we will probably be splashing out £20m (in wages and loan fee) for a player to come here, who might or might not breakdown but would boost the sale of shirts!!!

Not entirely out of the realms of possibility to think we (or whoever signs him) may be able to pull off the same kind of deal with Coutinho and Barcelona that Everton managed to make with Madrid and Coutinho with how desperate Barcelona are at the moment

Everton paid no transfer fee and Rodriguez took a pay cut

Every week or so we have a Coutinho frenzy and then get back to reality. The probability is he will stay at Barcelona and keep picking up his pay cheque. His next move will almost certainly be to America.

Agreed. If he fits into the wage structure and is humble enough to fit into the dressing room then it's a no-brainer.

He's still clearly a talent, one who needs direction and to play for a club and manager with vision and ambition rather than one that's an absolute circus behind the scenes.

If he can handle Kasper, Tielemans and Vardy barking orders at him then happy days.
