Coutinho

No chance surely.

Rodgers bought him for Liverpool so hopefully could persuade him here. Wages must surely be massive which I thought was the issue for Eriksen in Jan.

Seems to have come from this article from Mundo Deportivo, suggests an offer/fee of around €20m, or a possible loan

The Leicester follows pending of the future of Coutinho

Philippe Coutinho celebrated his 29th anniversary this past Saturday, waiting to define his future at FC Barcelona . The midfielder is still in Brazil recovering from the operation he underwent in early April to solve his meniscus problems and his name appears in the pools to leave the Camp Nou this summer.

One of the teams that is very aware of Coutinho's future is Leicester City and in England they point out that the 'Foxes' could launch themselves for the signing of the Brazilian. Coach Brendan Rodgers coincided with Coutinho at Liverpool and would be the main supporter of his incorporation.

It remains to be seen if Leicester presents a transfer offer for Coutinho - there is talk of about 20 million euros - or if otherwise they ask for the transfer of the footballer, as happened with Bayern Munich two seasons ago.

At Barça they would welcome a departure from Coutinho to reduce the salary mass of the first team, but they hope to be able to enter some money to recover part of the investment they made in their day to sign him from Liverpool .

A transfer fee of £20m + £10m in wages makes it a £50m transfer over 3 years.

Compare that to the Tielemans deal at £35m + £5m in wages, makes it a £45m transfer over 3 years.

It’s not that unrealistic, if we wanted to make it work.

Yes, but you haven't factored in the hefty champions league win bonus we would have to fork out!
