No. He's 100% Denmark. My loyalties are split because I love Leicester City football team (and everyone who plays for them, but particularly our captain who has done ten years of magnificence for our club) more than the national side. I just want Kasper to be happy.

I get your point but also, I think it’s completely bullshit.

 

My lass is German and I have a lot of German friends after being there for a few years. So I was cheering like crazy (it felt so wrong to do so) for them in that game against Portugal. So entertaining too. Even against Hungary I hoped they wouldn’t go out. But no way tonight were my loyalties split.

 

In 25 years you won’t give two shits about who was playing if we win the euros. And it’ll be a bit shit to look back and say “I was glad we didn’t win it because it meant Kasper Schmeichel did.”

 

Lunacy that.
