A bit like Danny Simpson really for me, I never liked him until he signed for us and became a hero here! Hopefully Thomas gets a good loan move though because I don't want to see him not get a game. Tuna Posted 15 July 2021 Share Posted 15 July 2021 This is really good signing for us, we've lost a lot of experience with the departures of Morgan and Fuchs and he has vast experience of the Premier League, European and international football, a natural leader having captained Southampton and will give us natural balance in the squad with another left back option. People may cock a snook at his age or consider it to be an unambitious signing, but they are wrong.
