Vindaloo FOX Posted 28 August 2021 Posted 28 August 2021 (edited) He's such a Arsenal player. To soft and does absolutely nothing. Edited 28 August 2021 by Vindaloo FOX 1
Rigga Posted 28 August 2021 Posted 28 August 2021 WAiting for MOTD. Not that it gives you much insight to overall performance.. who stood out today though ?

mannyzlcfc Posted 28 August 2021 Posted 28 August 2021 I know someone who works at Norwich, overheard Maddison talking to his mum and girlfriend in hospitality saying he's still got a problem with his hip.

ronnup Posted 28 August 2021 Posted 28 August 2021 Would make sense, he's simply not himself. Hopefully Brendan sees sense.
WigstonWanderer Posted 28 August 2021 Posted 28 August 2021 Arsenal desperately need Maddison. They should just pay whatever it takes

Felt he would be better than Jack Grealish and become a England regular. But i feel something is up with him, i don't believe he is still injured. Just feel he has become one of theses new age soical media prima donna footballers who are more interested in their next tattoo than their next performance. He has lost his ambition to become world class. Perfect for Arsenal. Edited 28 August 2021 by Vindaloo FOX 4

He just in a really testing dip of form in my eyes, need something to spark him into action. He's not the only one scatching around for form, you could stick Barnes and Soyuncu in tthat camp. 1

But at least Barnes and cags are trying Maddison has put nothing into the last 3 games , but I think the manager has to take some of the blame, we really need another midfielder in the middle of the park , nididi and YOURI are been overrun and the forwards are not getting any quality ball
The_77 Posted 29 August 2021 Posted 29 August 2021 Rodgers said last year that Maddison’s hip is always going to be an issue that needs to be managed. Not sure why anyone thinks he’s magically fully fit and this is just some mental issue.

Its a shame really when he’s good he’s a great player, every game I’m waiting for that old spark and it’s just not happening. It will probably do him good to go on the bench and come on late in games for a while, hopefully he will then find his form Edited 29 August 2021 by dayday 1
FoxyLeon Posted 29 August 2021 Posted 29 August 2021 For me, he's an even bigger problem than Perez, and it showed again yesterday! Either there is a problem with his attitude, or his hip problems have left him permanently crocked. He can't get around the pitch, and come the end of the season, I can seriously see him struggling to get any game time here at all.
Rigga Posted 29 August 2021 Posted 29 August 2021 Continues to just drift through games. Very half hearted and nothing clinical about his play… Kel more than deserves his chance up there playing just off Vardy.. 1

Lesta2014 Posted 29 August 2021 Posted 29 August 2021 I wonder what the actual issue with his hip is, never had much detail on it have we.

Last season, when he had the hip issue, and missed the West Ham game, the lad was out golfing. Sorry, and I’m not aiming to be rude, but come off it. He’s turned up to watch loads of games he wasn’t playing in, and has very clearly been interested, invested and supportive. He might as well play golf as do anything else if he can’t go to the match, don’t you think? 1

He’s even gone to the u23 matches before, which considering how they had been playing was definitely beyond the call of duty!
Flappit Posted 29 August 2021 Posted 29 August 2021 You guys do know there is a Maddison thread on the main forum to discuss non-transfer related Maddison stuff, right? 1
