Keeper is looking completely the other way, Barnes several yards outside his eyeline.

 

It's not a "dumb rule". It's a goal by the rules, VAR cheated us.

We'll end up unlucky not to get a point, but hardly a surprise as despite pissession (A form of possession where you do piss all with it) we did not have a shot on target until we were 2 down. Players regularly don't look up for it at the beginning of the games, but they continue to keep their place. 

 

Hopefully Maddison being dragged off at Half Time will either kick him into action or mean that Rodgers will actually drop him

Hopefully the VAR decisions will make Rodgers improve his team selections. His choices cost us the game as much as we were hindered by Barnes and the ref
