Unbelievable talent. I follow Scouted football who have been raving about him this season. Left footed forward who can play through the middle as a striker or in a front 3 wide right.

There's absolutely no chance that we're paying 40m for a 17 year old number 10.

33m in pounds

I can remember thinking the same thing when we paid 30m odd Fofana at 19 years old.

After the fiasco of spending big money on players in their late 20s Silva and Slimini, we have definitely gone down the route of investing in youth

Besides developing our own this is kinda the only way we properly catch up with the big boys or rather keep up with them. Quite a risk but definitely need one or two of these around our squad (similar to the fofana signing) unlikely though with a quite young squad already unless a player leaves?

No strengths and a long list of weaknesses? Sounds like the boxer though, so count me in.

I wonder if we actually made an offer in the summer and, if so, how much.

Few mil maybe, if that. Probably just tapped up his agent on the dl.

40m is basically "fvck off" money from their chairman who clearly wants to keep a prize asset for a few years before selling.

Maybe when we were linked with CHO at the end of the last transfer window the ITKs got it wrong and this is who we were actually looking at
