His house is most certainly up for sale. Probably no board up.

There’s nothing on the market currently in the area he lives so not quite sure about this statement

You see i'm not so sure.

I am as everyone knows fed up with the negative style we're trying (Can't stress that word enough) to transition into, I mean we've been trying for atleast 4, probably more like 5 seasons now and we're far from nailing it, it's still as poor and negative as the day we started it, but I feel that instruction, brief, direction has come from the powers above so i'm kind of at the point of what's the point.

Once there is a change within football - which i believe is coming fairly imminently (:fc:) I think, I hope, we'll follow, why we've followed this route with the strengths of our players at our disposal I don't know.

I just wish we'd be the exception like a minority of clubs are and not the (Unwritten) rule like a majority of clubs are.

What successful clubs play counter attacking football out of interest?

Not many, as I said theres only a minority, unfortunately.

Attacking, positive, front footed teams not playing this dreary shite: Liverpool (as much as it pains me to say that) and Atletico for starters, West Ham look good at the moment, playing to their players strengths but people could be getting a little excited and it remains to be seen if that's a flash in the pan, they're certainly refreshing though.

Who says i'm talking about purely counter attacking, all the time though? Likewise I don't wanna see the negative shite we're seeing week in, week out all the time as we are, time and a place for all styles but would love to see teams mixing it up not playing in one exclusive style being so predictable, certainly when it's so dreary, boring and negative, constantly.

If not purely a counter attacking team, Atletico's recent good performances have been built on extremely efficient defending and a high goal chance conversion rate. This with a squad vastly cheaper than Real and Barca.

I swear it feels at times reading this forum I follow a different team to everybody else.

You've shot yourself in the foot by naming Atletico, have you ever watched La Liga, Atletico can be a snooze fest.  We play counter attacking football against the bigger teams, but our problem for the last few years have been against teams who want to sit in the low block, we all know it on here.  If we had the money to buy super talented finished articles, it wouldn't be a problem!

Am I the only one who has absolutely no idea where Brendan (or any of our players) lives? Are you lot following him/them home from training?

Lives in a quiet village many people on here have never likely to have heard of, near Loughborough.

Interesting. I might have heard of it - he could be my neighbour :)

We have neither the interplaying skills of Man. City or the physical power of a Lukaku so its no wonder we struggle. We always look better when we concede possession like we did against United.

Luciano Spalletti from Napoli? Doub he'd come here, although his wages would surely rise with us.

Only joined them in the summer and with how well they are doing in the league I very highly doubt he would leave them for us

A lot of research gone into plucking that name out the hat, team doing well this season let’s have their manager regardless of his history.

I don’t think we will be in for a 63yr old Italian who has only just started to learn English and has spent his entire career in Italy other than a 5yr spell in Russia

Why should that bother us, sack Rodgers now, we've found our man! Besides do we really need a manager? Clearly just tell the players to play attacking football, everything else is just faffing about.

Yes and we will play on the counter against the so called bigger teams, this is not a problem and Rodgers has adapted, it wasn't too long ago we had the best record against these teams.  The problem that we all know and can see is that we don't quite have the ball players to always unlock the teams that counter against us.  If Rodgers goes, the next manager will have the same set of problems, don't forget the owners wanted to move away from the counter attacking model, it was why Puel's remit was to change the make up of the squad, which Rodgers then inherited.

He won't put his house on the market until after anything is confirmed.

When you're a multi millionaire it's not as if you need to sell yours first before buying a new one.

Yeah they buy houses for the sake of it and often lose money on them in the process. He's already on his 2nd house here and I suspect he'll end up flogging this one if he does go Utd.

He was renting originally, not too far from Lingdale golf course

Apparently recently moved to Old Dalby

Nothing to suggest he’s purchased anything round here

Have you got any suggestions?
