Doubt very much he'd leave the Italian national team before the World Cup and in any case,  if he became available, there'd be a lot of bigger clubs than us in the queue.

Oh for sure, it would be an astronomical challenge to get him. He'd be a fantastic manager for any club in the world.

Your Google broken love ?

Well he’s right. There’s not one reputable source said it’s imminent or there’s been an agreement. The I Paper said he’d been on their list. But they’re been no word from Northcroft, Percy, Winter, Whitwell, Stone or Johnston whom all have an insider track to the clubs.

Instead the assumption is largely off a clickbait of a website, bookmakers adjusting to a minor surge and a Mirror online article

What's the obsession with Potter about? He can't even get Brighton to finish outside of the bottom 6 over the course of the season. We need to be moving forward, not back. Potter would've felt like a good appointment following Shakespeare, not Rodgers.

Pep effect, said he was a top coach once, the guy won 2 of Brighton first 18 games last season, currently no win in 6.

Don't get the love in.

His finished 10th in the championship with Swansea, and 15th and 16th in the PL with Brighton.

If you are not a fan of us at the moment, you won’t be liking Favre. The similarities with Rodgers are strong

Nah, he will already be gone, along, with Wes and Wilf, following Rodgers to Man Utd apparently.

I was going to come up with some witty reply about Wes Morgan being retired but TBF he could probably get into Man Us defence

I find this £3 million release clause very dubious. Rodgers is pretty much a prized asset, on a hefty long term contract and we'll let him go for relative peanuts (and to a team we'd consider a rival at the moment on the pitch)?

Some of these names...  We're not hiring Jardim, and Mancini isn't coming in a million years.

I get the skepticism with Potter, but the numbers suggest he's done a very good job with pretty minimal talent, especially in attack.  He's not my first choice but I think there's a chance he could succeed big-time with players who can finish.

I believe Potter would be an excellent choice if he would be happy to come.

Yeh i don't believe it either.

The club would have known if he was ever going to leave it would be for one of the real big clubs... So why would you make it practically a free transfer?
