He does a lot of pissing around though. No doubt he is extremely gifted, but a lot of what he does is wasteful and a bit pointless. Not too dissimilar to adama.

Saint-Maximin falls into the same bracket as Adama Traore. Often so ineffective. Would be fun to see both those players in the same team thoughm

Antonio hasn't been in goalscoring form for a while now. I'm hoping they don't manage to sign a decent striker in the January window, our squad is currently around as good as theirs and I think we can overtake them.

Change in approach today and less slow build from kasper. 
 

4 scored from only 5 on target shows there’s no issue going forward. A clean sheet was a must but fear this won’t be regular with another injury to the list and lots of games coming up!

Really all about the result today. Everyone connected with the club needed a good win with a clean sheet. The players and manager needed a confidence boost after Thursday and us fans just needed to see a good win.

 

there will be harder test over the next few weeks but you can only beat the opponents on the day however poor they were.

It was a slow burner but as the game wore on we grew into it. The start was a bit shakey, and we didn’t seem to to be at it for a while, but after we got the goal we settled down a lot. 
 

Some of the passing and moving was excellent, crisp sharp and we moved the ball well, all of the goals were quality. Especially Youri’s second goal, it was phenomenal work from madders wonderful control, and a wonderful move. 
 

My only complaint today was Barnes. He has got to be more thoughtful with his movement off the ball. Sometimes he’s not reactive enough to attacking phases of play he either tucks too far in, or stays too far out and doesn’t move into free space where his pace and power can be utterly devastating. This is my only whinge about today’s game, whether this is a coaching thing or a confidence thing I don’t know, but it’s holding him back. 
 

Other than that, much better 90 minutes, just what the doctor ordered after Thursday.
