This is really sad.

 

Used to watch the Speedway GP with him and Kelvin Tatum. One of the best commentary double acts on any sport. Enthusiastic, entertaining and informative.

Think he did the pro tour last week and was scheduled work for most of next week so I don't believe he was ill.

Tbf it was pretty common knowledge he was dying. I think the rules should ban expected deaths. If someone says they have three months to live in December then you shouldn't be allowed to pick them for the next year.

Tbf this caught me out with Clive James for years. I put him on the list and he didn't pass away. Until the year I didn't put him on :doh:
