Some tidy performances from some really young lads. Very promising.

Great performance given the circumstances. Hamza was fantastic as was Lookman and Brunt, Mcateer, Mavivadua and Alves did not look out of place. Our attacking play was great and they had a few chances but overall I we were very comfortable and deserved the scoreline. Well done lads, really proud of them all today!

Can feel that winning mentality building again, maybe it takes some forced changes to break the funk and bring a bit of fresh air into the dressing room.

Absolutely love the cup... so great to see the young lads come on and all look so confident! 
 

What’s great about this is that most of them will be offered loans now. There will be lower league clubs who held doubts before but will see the result and performances and think they are with a try.

The underdog fight is back and it’s making things interesting again. I would rather we stick it out with some of the kids than postpone games. Their fight and passion alone could win us games.

Hamza and Brunt were sensational. Maddisonand Lookman brilliant and then plenty of strong performances from Albrighton, Ward and the other academy boys did well too.

 

Cannot believe Alves got his debut at 16, him and his family must be buzzing. Some nice touches too, the club clearly want to make him feel like his future is here and only here. Brilliant. I'm revved, tins being swigged at incredible PACE.

Hamza yes was out of position but 2nd half gave the ball away a lot, yes he retrieved it a few times but was scarey at times
