He has had a poor run of form recently but if you think our midfield is better off without him in it you are insane

Would certainly have been better off on Sunday!

Perhaps that's the problem. He's never dropped. That dont help anyone especially a players attitude.

A lot of the top clubs won’t touch him because isn’t quick enough, also if we are not playing well he’s one of the first players that goes missing.

Doesn't seem fit enough either. He wouldn't be able to get up and down all game in a fast top side.

He's playing alongside an absolute load of shy away shite at the minute.

He needs his mates to step up as well otherwise his style of play is never going to work in a team like this.

Wilf has been absolute garbage all season, Soumare is slower in movement and thinking than Vesty and we loaned out the only other mobile, competent midfield partner we had for him.

Sooner he leaves the better, for him.

Would be a dreadful signing for Utd IMO. Not the type of player they need in the middle of the park at all. Similar to us they lack leadership and we all know Youri isn't gonna give them that.

I know it was rumoured, not sure if it's gone through yet.

He is a very good player, but not a very very good player who can dominate a game. He has probably reached his optimum level and this is as good as any team is going to get. Take the money !

...KDH coming into the team should have been  a godsend for Tielemans, he would then have had the leg work being done by Wilf and KDH to allow him to create!!!

Instead they are not deployed in an effective way as KDH  and Youri  are used as #8s in a diamonds, as opposed to Youri having a free role.

We have not utilised KDH enough to strengthen the midfield, we will be remiss if we choose to use a double pivot with just Youri and Wilf  tomorrow.

Bang on

When he does it against West Ham yet again he'll have his pants pulled down again by Moyes.

Not having that it's others fault rather than Tielemans'. Maddison and KDH have played very well as of late.

Yep. I'd much rather lose Youri than Maddison, that would be a disaster.

seems to have a season on and a season off. he was disappointing in the 19/20 season, great season after and this season rubbish.  he isn't consistent enough to be considered world class like people were calling him last season. i think he could end up flopping at utd

If he does go to utd, would anyone take a realistic cash + player deal ? Utd always seem to have our of favour players would would actually do well here with the right attitude

No doubt he is a good player and on his day up there with the best.

But he has the engine of a milk float and gets gassed very quickly. Also his game without the ball is pretty poor.

He doesn't want to be here so I'd get rid and move on.

We need a clear out of this type of player.

I think YOURI will end up like MR DRINKWATER , he will get splinters in his arse from sitting on the bench , when who ever buys him realise , he is not the player they thought they were buying .

http://sportwitness.co.uk/two-sources-claim-man-united-picture-pl-star-player-ready-transfer-e40m-enough/

Manchester United are in the picture to sign Leicester City’s Youri Tielemans, according to multiple reports from Belgium.

The 24-year-old has less than 18 months left on his contract and has refused to sign a new deal at the King Power Stadium.

That’s according to Het Nieuwsblad, who state the talks with the Foxes over an extension ‘came to nothing’.

Brendan Rodgers’ side demanded €70m for the Belgium international last summer and it was deemed too high by his suitors.

The situation will be different at the end of the season, when he will have a year left on his contract and Leicester will have ‘their backs against the wall’. His market value is set at €55m, but sources have indicated Leicester ‘will be satisfied’ with €40m.

The player will carefully evaluate all options and ‘some factors will be crucial’.

Tielemans wants to join a top club that challenges for silverware and plays regularly in the Champions League.

United ‘already follow’ Rodgers’ man and if they want him, they have been made aware of the conditions needed to secure his signature.

Meanwhile, Gazet van Antwerpen state the Red Devils have been following Tielemans, who is ‘ready for a top transfer’ in the summer, for ‘some time’.

The newspaper echo claims made by Het Nieuwsblad that a fee of around €40m will be sufficient to convince Leicester.

United are not the only club as both newspapers state Arsenal, Real Madrid and Juventus are also in the mix to sign the Belgian.

He'll fit in at Utd and flatter to deceive like fridge.  He'll be amongst like minded players in that respect.  He's not going to be the one who turns them round for sure.
