Continue that form and we’re in trouble before the end of January The season started in August and we didn’t win a game until October, yet we finished in November before the World Cup in 13th, as we are now. No point planning to visit the Cov-Scum just yet until we see what state we are in come Feb 1st.

Maybe a couple of seasons of mid-table stability is exactly what we need. In that time the squad needs a major overhaul , we need to introduce Alves, Braybrooke and hopefully one or two others into the main squad. The long delayed stadium expansion needs starting and last but not least Rodgers is life expired. People need to pull back their expectations on here. As long as we are a reasonably competitive PL team I am prepared to be patient. 4

Aiming to stand still, is being devoid of ambition and leads to an inability to see and take opportunities, we won't standstill, we will go backwards. I am going to keep looking forward and watching us push to be our best, it really is something that should be understood by now.
moore_94 Posted 16 January 2023 Posted 16 January 2023 Man Utd apparently interested in a deal this January after Van de Beek was ruled out for the rest of the season

Ric Flair Posted 16 January 2023 Posted 16 January 2023 Sell and go and get Le Fee. If Ouattara is going to Bournemouth with only 18 months left on his contract for £20m then Le Fee must be gettable too for maximum £25m. 3 1

Nominal fee, out the door and recruit A replacement
Popular Post AKCJ Posted 16 January 2023 Popular Post Posted 16 January 2023 (edited) Swanning about in midfield trying not to get injured while wearing the captains armband at the City Ground is unforgivable for a Leicester player. Get rid. He doesn't want to be here and I'm past wanting him to stay. Edited 16 January 2023 by AKCJ 13
TiffToff88 Posted 16 January 2023 Posted 16 January 2023 (edited) Sell, but only after bringing in a replacement first. If we lose Youri this month and faff about trying to find a replacement we'll be well and truly buggered Edited 16 January 2023 by TiffToff88 3 1

st albans fox Posted 16 January 2023 Posted 16 January 2023 looks like youri is not the difference between staying up and going down. if you are going to make the argument that with madders available then he is - that's a debate to have otherwise get whatever cash in that you can - now ....... but you have to bring someone in who you are sure can control the tempo of the game from the base of midfield in this league 1
coolhandfox Posted 16 January 2023 Posted 16 January 2023 I would sell. I would keep a fully committed Tielemans in a heartbeat, but he is not. 2

Wasyls Pec Deck Posted 16 January 2023 Posted 16 January 2023 We need a shake up and not averse to him going. We can’t carry passengers anymore, and sadly he looks like one since the World Cup. They need to reinvest immediately obviously. What a sad way to end his time here. He could have been, and still is to a little extent, a legend. But FA Cup winning goal will always be tarnished with how things will end - pulling out of tackles at the City Ground. I’ve alway get with YT that when the going is good, he’s fine. But he’s not one for leading by example of grabbing a game by the scruff of the neck - and that’s what we need right now.
GingerrrFox Posted 16 January 2023 Posted 16 January 2023 GET. RID. When his head was here, he was a great player for us but ever since he’s decided he wants pastures new, he’s been a shell of what he was. He’s just going through the motions now and I’d rather the club just blooded Sammy B for the future.
ousefox Posted 16 January 2023 Posted 16 January 2023 I really want to get some money for him so think we should sell sadly. What a player he was when Brendan knew his arse from his elbow. Deep with Ndidi in a 4231, he was special. 4
pkonline Posted 16 January 2023 Posted 16 January 2023 I don't think selling Youri this window, for a small fee, would be all that helpful - any replacement would cost us much more in January vs Summer. 1

It's a trade off of sorts, sell him for a fee and get his salary off the books whilst getting some fresh blood in and get some energy in the team to save our season. Tielemans has nothing left to play for and walks free in 5 months.
Dames Posted 16 January 2023 Posted 16 January 2023 He should have been made available in the summer. The absolute most we'll get for him now is 10-15 million if we are lucky.
Buzzell Posted 16 January 2023 Posted 16 January 2023 I love Youri but he isn’t signing a new deal and will leave for free at the end of the season. Surely getting some cash for him now wouldn’t be so bad as long as we get a very good replacement in.
Realist Guy In The Room Posted 16 January 2023 Posted 16 January 2023 He is a complete bastard and we should take whatever we can get. I imagine he's on massive wonga bucks too so it'd be all round wins if we can get rid. Great player but so uncommitted it's untrue.
