ALC Fox Posted 26 August 2022 Posted 26 August 2022 Should be a formality now if true considering personal terms have been agreed for a while. Get it over the line as quick as we can and get a couple of new CBs in. Happy days.
Number 6 Posted 26 August 2022 Posted 26 August 2022 Probably only a few days until Sky Sources hear that a bid has been accepted now. 4

dmayne7 Posted 26 August 2022 Posted 26 August 2022 Worked out ok in the end. All those crying about his behaviour are probably the ones that were loving how he pushed his move to us. I don't like his behaviour, particularly after the backing he got from us with his injury and the new contract but it was always going to happen. £80m+ is a great deal. He could be the best but no guarantees. If only we could have some promise that we'd spend the money well...
st albans fox Posted 26 August 2022 Posted 26 August 2022 Just to add that the rmc report specifically states a world record fee for A 21 y o defender and not a defender or THE 21 y o defender keep your power dry if you’re gonna be upset if it’s below £80m
Md9 Posted 26 August 2022 Posted 26 August 2022 Chelsea will be crying like Utd were after 3 bad games that we have robbed them blind after trying to make out the stole him from us for a bargain. Can not wait for it. At least he can’t play tomorrow .
jonathan_ross Posted 26 August 2022 Posted 26 August 2022 (edited) Wesley 'F### OFF’ Fofana, farewell and I hope your career nose dives down there the same way it did for Danny Dwinkwater. Edited 26 August 2022 by jonathan_ross 3 1
lcfc_forever Posted 26 August 2022 Posted 26 August 2022 Wonder now if we might just shift those players we want to sell for lower fees now we’ve got big money from selling Fofana, as it’s their wages that are hurting us. Looks like the dominoes are falling into place, the next few days are going to be mayhem for our recruitment team and us following the different transfer links. Get out the popcorn! 3
Popular Post EnderbyFox Posted 26 August 2022 Popular Post Posted 26 August 2022 Good riddance, hope he gets a worse reception than any former player. Not turning up for training is a proper rat move 27 1

ronnup Posted 26 August 2022 Posted 26 August 2022 We better have a quality replacement lined up or we're ****ed. Never even got a season out of the rat, **** him
Chelmofox Posted 26 August 2022 Posted 26 August 2022 Hope he enjoys sitting on the Chelsea bench after he is caught out in possession. Might get a good run in the Carabao cub though. 2

Popular Post Bert Posted 26 August 2022 Popular Post Posted 26 August 2022 I’m glad it’s being resolved one way or another. But we should never do business with Chelsea again. Absolute scumbags, unsettle whoever they’re interested in, try and get their targets for less than the clubs asking price. Absolute joke. 21 1

smudger63 Posted 26 August 2022 Posted 26 August 2022 Awaits Fofanas Thank you to Leicester City and their fans tweet, saying how much he`s loved his time here, what a great club and fantasic fans we are, and how he will forever be a fox in his heart! 1 1
moore_94 Posted 26 August 2022 Posted 26 August 2022 Sounds like it will only break Maguire record if bonuses are achieved €82.5M is about £70m Transfer estimated at €82.5M, excluding bonus. Bonuses can make the defender the most expensive in history

To be fair to Chelsea, him signing for them pretty much exactly mirrors him signing for us. I expect his agent’s modus operandi is to blame.
Dames Posted 26 August 2022 Posted 26 August 2022 I dont want to see no leaving message off him. Glad he’s gone. Always knew it was going to end with him leaving for a big club but the way this has happened has been a shambles. 2
MrsJohnMurphy Posted 26 August 2022 Posted 26 August 2022 I hope he smashes it for Chelsea and then he does the same to them after Real Madrid or PSG come in for him 1 1
Lesta2014 Posted 26 August 2022 Posted 26 August 2022 Good riddance don’t want people who aren’t fully committed here. Like Brendan said, maguire was top class until he left, fofana should take note
