copunk Posted 20 February 2022 Posted 20 February 2022 If you ever wanted conditions to use as an excuse to stop playing about at the back, then today is the day

Fazzer 7 Posted 20 February 2022 Posted 20 February 2022 What’s wrong with Barnes now ? No Madders no creativity. Hard to see how this is going to end well. I’d take a point riight now.
Ricey Posted 20 February 2022 Posted 20 February 2022 Was adamant Iheanacho would start. Feels like a perfect game for him and Daka has been poor in the last couple of matches.
foxinsocks Posted 20 February 2022 Posted 20 February 2022 Rodger say barnes has tight ham string. These tendon type injuries are not being managed since dave rennie sacked... they wont know if serrious or not... Cearly they had no idea when getting on bus.

Cropwellfox Posted 20 February 2022 Posted 20 February 2022 At least this should mean Lookman will start on the left where he should be stronger. If not working for Kevin expect Perez subbed on ahead of Iheanacho I would think.
majaco Posted 20 February 2022 Posted 20 February 2022 Under the circumstances, good team. Without Barnes and Maddison who for me would be the first names on the team sheet, we still look strong. Ndidi and KDH give us solidity. If Tielemans is on form there is pace for him to thread to. Albrighton add s character in what could be a war of attrition against Wolves and will support Thomas. Daka and Lookman should have some license. Pereira coming back to form. Our central defence remains the problem. The chances of them concentrating for about 97 minutes are slim.
StanSP Posted 20 February 2022 Posted 20 February 2022 Maddison is a bigger loss than Barnes I think. Much more consistency and creativity in Maddison's game and a lot of our play goes through him. Hope we see him at some point, but not if it will result in further injury...?

Ric Flair Posted 20 February 2022 Posted 20 February 2022 I'll give them the benefit of the doubt here and like with Thomas, they are being more careful when players have niggles hence Barnes dropping out and hopefully be back for the Burnley game. 3
Vacamion Posted 20 February 2022 Posted 20 February 2022 If we've lost the creative spark of Maddison and Barnes, maybe Ayoze Perez has a chance to add something in this game later on? 1 3
hejammy Posted 20 February 2022 Posted 20 February 2022 Says a lot about what he thinks about Pérez to be playing Kevin in a front three and not Pérez. Not sure we have the ability upfront. Glad Daka is starting again though. The boy always seems to score for us so there's that.
