I honestly don't agree. I am more forgiving of our attacking players since we know as a unit they can deliver and the pitch is poor. But I'd love our defence to gain confidence and keep a convincing clean sheet. That would be heartening. Now whatever confidence the players had would be shot after that abject display against a very poor side.

His plan is a payout. He’s been checked out for a while now.

A team plays in the image of its Manager. We are just that. The most lightweight spineless side in the Premier League over playing in stupid areas. Pretty sure Rodgers will do his second half adjustments that should have been in place before a ball was kicked. The story of this season.

If it was dull and flat because we were being professional and killing the game off, making it a practice session I could handle that but it's the errors, sloppiness and carelessness that is so frustrating. Against more clinical finishers we'd be right up against it by now.
