He’s got to stop playing 1 up front when we only have Daka and Iheanacho available. It doesn’t work, and he’s previously said that Iheanacho can only play in a 2 when explaining his absence… and yet he’s up front on his own tonight.

When I was a kid, I remember watching Dr Who with John Pertwee. In particular, the ‘green death’ with the giant maggots. I’d spend every minute hiding my face behind a cushion and squirming, knowing that, though I hated every moment, I had to know how it ended. Do I even need to finish  making the connection?

It's no surprise we are terrible at defending set pieces. We're terrible at defending in open play too. It looks like the players aren't really sure of their roles. I would love to know if they work on defensive shape and organisation as a team in training.
