Farrington fox Posted 28 December 2021 Posted 28 December 2021 Played a better game tonight but his distribution is too sloppy.
lcfc_forever Posted 28 December 2021 Posted 28 December 2021 Along with KDH, gives us physicality and stamina in midfield. That's all the more important with Ndidi having to play in defence. Some sloppy passes but he worked so hard and defended very well. 2
Marshall Cockney Fox Posted 28 December 2021 Posted 28 December 2021 I think it's been said before. But we will see the logic in his signing next season. He's a bit off the pace currently and is still learning. But there is undoubted talent. Hopefully he can fully acclimatise and be boss next year
Charl91 Posted 28 December 2021 Posted 28 December 2021 (edited) Going to take some flack here, but he was poor. On another day we could've conceded a good few from the myriad of times he gave the ball away, and I don't think he offered much going forward. The difference between him and KDH was night and day. Still early days, but I'm not seeing promising signs from him. Edited 28 December 2021 by Charl91 2
matty2702 Posted 28 December 2021 Posted 28 December 2021 We’ll see the best of this guy next season. Really hope the fans give the guy time and get behind him as he clearly has all the attributes to succeed… 2
berniethebolt Posted 28 December 2021 Posted 28 December 2021 He's got the game to be a top top player, needs consistency. Taking into consideration that's he's younger than KDH and a year older than Tomas at 22, I think he will be a real asset over the future seasons.
Blue-fox Posted 28 December 2021 Posted 28 December 2021 I thought he was our weakest player today, and was very surprised to see Hamza come off instead of him. 4
ParkerPen Posted 28 December 2021 Posted 28 December 2021 i believe he will get there, yes bad tonight, and hit and miss in other games, but there is a player there for sure

Popular Post SouthStandUpperTier Posted 28 December 2021 Popular Post Posted 28 December 2021 I can forgive the little errors as long as the effort is there, and it was tonight. Well done Bouba. 6

Daz93 Posted 28 December 2021 Posted 28 December 2021 His overall contribution was fantastic but his passing absolutely whiffs. Needs to keep it simple and give it to better ball-players if he continues in this role.
Mullet1 Posted 28 December 2021 Posted 28 December 2021 But is he in the starting 11 in the midfield next season if the current squad is still here. Who does he get in ahead of?
ARTY_FOX Posted 28 December 2021 Posted 28 December 2021 People are way overly critical of the lad for whatever reason. There were a couple of players who gave the ball away alot today. Hamza being one and people are so willing to over look it for some reason. He played well. Especially when he had some movement round him when Youri and Lookman came on.
Kinowe Soorie Posted 28 December 2021 Posted 28 December 2021 He’s like a big lump of jelly, but with legs. 1
LCFCbwoi Posted 28 December 2021 Posted 28 December 2021 He’ll come good, it’s his first season in the prem and he plays arguably the most demanding position. He’s had a couple of games where he was outstanding and he’s younger than Dewsbury-Hall ffs.
Devonfox1884 Posted 28 December 2021 Posted 28 December 2021 (edited) Poor overall, but really contributed defensively last 10. Won one really important back post header with others out of position. Edited 28 December 2021 by Devonfox1884

StanSP Posted 28 December 2021 Posted 28 December 2021 The one thing he did do well and could put himself about with was winning headers when they lumped it up chasing the game. Won a lot in the air!
moore_94 Posted 28 December 2021 Posted 28 December 2021 Not one of the standouts but I thought he had a decent game. In duels (ground or aerial) he will come out on top the majority of the time. 76% pass completion - 6th highest of 13 outfield players used 8 ground duels won, 3 lost - Most ground duels won in team 2 headed clearances 100% dribble completion (1/1) 100% tackle completion (1/1) 6 aerial duels won, 1 lost - Most aerial duels won in team 5 recoveries - 3rd most recoveries (behind only Wilf and KDH) 1
Silverfox14 Posted 28 December 2021 Posted 28 December 2021 I think he will come good when has got used to the pace 1
Collymore Posted 29 December 2021 Posted 29 December 2021 He reminds me a bit of Iborra - technically very good but perhaps struggles with the physical and fast nature of the Premier League at times. He looks a typical continental type midfielder who would be a Rolls Royce in Spain or France. The big question is can he adapt his game to become consistently effective in England? So many have tried and failed but maybe Soumare is young enough and has the physical attributes to be able to give it a go. 1
