Leicester are determined for us to have this cringeworthy theme park atmosphere. Nobody will convince me otherwise.

No disputing that. I think the only way you'll get an authentic, non manufactured experience involving a Leicester side is to form a non-league club and go from there.

Clappers, goal music, theme parks are the present and the future at this ground.

Absolutely disgusted by the behaviour of the club. They don't want supporters, only customers. I'm personally considering whether to continue my 60+ years of support of this manufactured theme park club. I'll be at the PSV game, even though it's a 270 mile round trip, and I won't be home until 1am. But the continual piss-take by the middle management of our once great club is seriously making me think this may be my last season. They seem to do everything they can to remove all the enjoyment from what should be - and has been- a fantastic experience.

If any club employees bother to read this, here's my message - F**K YOU LEICESTER!! You don't deserve our support.

It's all part & parcel of being in the Premier Sanitised League.

Clappers

Goal music

'....And it's live !'

The big 4.

No 3pm Saturday KO's.

VAR

Sky/BT monopoly.

.......I've probably missed plenty, feel free to add.

The response I got yesterday….

Those of us who are season tickets and have seen the club win the pl and the fa cup... yet we are now uninspired by the club form... and sit slumped in our seats.   How refreshing the european games are with "irregular" fans rocking up with placards.   Singing and cheering.  The singing section was great.

I have no idea why the club dont get behind this.

Shame on Top and Susan for not reigning in the middle managers.

It's all just getting a bit petty really.

No reason not to have a singing area. It's all going rather flat as of late. Maybe it's the pandemic effect, but so many just don't seem as bothered anymore.

Not sure how we get our voice across, clearly individual emails aren't working. But think a protest is one too far. Petition could get our point, but once again easily ignored

I hate the way the club are going with clappers and that God forsaken goal music, but if anyone thinks that there is a chance of a permanent singing section then they are living in cloud cuckoo land. For that to happen, then fans who have probably had season tickets in any planned designated singing area would either have to be happy to be part of that singing section or be moved, and in a ground with 23000 season ticket holders, and only 6000 other seats available to choose from, some of which will be in the family stand  and some of which may be in more exepensive areas, or just not enough seats together for what they need, I can't see many of those current season ticket holders wanting to move.

Realistically a permanent one isn't happening till the extension at earliest

Leicester United it is then. We’ll finally get an assured local derby match!

The email addresses of the decision makers were posted the other day, not just the lcfc help one.

Does FT have an email account?

If we had a semi-serious thread where we could get actual demand from fans for a singing area, with then Mark (or another mod) emailing it on to the club saying X thousand people have come together to support a singing section, surely that would start to turn heads?

If an entire forum made noise, and I'm sure we could attract others from twitter etc, could we get a reaction? I'm thinking of FT, UFS and then maybe the supporters trust all coming together to get a decent number of people calling for a singing section.

No strictly true, there will be an opportunity once the ground extension is completed.

You will get a number of people relocating to the new areas which will give some wiggle room.

This is the only way, united action rather then moaning on a forum.

Worth using those email addresses too, I sent off my war and peace the other day to be told they'll come back to me with a proper response within the next day or so.

Listen to silence instead cuz that’s what it’ll be.

It won't though, will it? It's a European Quarter Final. The club did just fine with the UCL games in terms of whipping the atmosphere up.

Possibly, but relocating to the new stand will be a costly change for anyone currenyly paying kop prices, so I'm not too sure there will be too many around the kop areas that will want to move. Time will tell I guess.

The only real way I can see changes occurring are via the FCC forum.

However in order for that to happen we need at least one very intelligent skilled diplomat who isn't afraid to challenge the hierarchy at the meetings in a constructive way. I do think the clubs representatives at these meetings would listen if said person could command their respect as I get the impression from those that have attended past meetings and posted on here that the club at times see themselves above the attendees, and that sometimes feedback from attendees isn't conveyed as well as what it could be.

If someone could articulate feedback in a way that doesn't come across as demanding or aggressive, with a good degree of logic whilst framing the idea as being in the best interests of the club (particularly commercially) then I see no reason why they would not be receptive.

The singing section in the kop really needed to be in place when the stadium opened, although I suppose there wasn't really such a thing in name at the time I suppose.  Certainly growing up with filbert Street  we all knew where to go for the singing, but of course it was easier then, because it was standing, and no restrictions on where you go. To be honest when the new stadium opened  I assumed that sk 3 and sk2 would be where the singers would go, but I think the cheaper prices of that part of the ground attracted your everyday fan and so alot of the more vocal fans were split up. It was a shame

I am aware of at least one person who fits exactly what you described at the FCC forum and makes themselves heard in that manner.

That was a long time ago. If you think it’s going to be anything like that you’re kidding yourself.
