PSV Post Match.

Meh, a bit disappointed with that.

KDH by far the MOTM, didn't do anything special,  but just did what he had to and broke up a lot of their play.

I thought other than KDH, we were quite poor in every area other than defence.

Our issue was, every player you look at to create something, Maddison, Barnes & Youri, all had bad games.

The away leg will be very tough now but its still in our hands.

Could have gone better, but could have gone a lot worse with their stone wall penalty.

Didn't see much of the game but from what I saw in the second half we didn't lay a glove on them, frustrating.

It will be a good old fashioned winner takes all cup tie in Eindhoven!

Thought Harvey was pretty pants except for his effort. He didn’t attack his man. But then I realised if he did he’d have had no options should be have got to the by line.

Right side broke after the subs.

Nacho forgot his shooting boots. We know he doesn’t have control boots so without the shooting boots we’re not left with much 😆

We should have been ahead in the first half but the second half was a complete damp squib as they parked the bus and we had no clue how to break them down. A few great performances eg KDH and the centre backs. Plus a few flashes from Riccy P. Barnes was so disappointing except for his one shot that hit the post. But as ever we didn't have enough shots. Realistically, that's the end of Euro our dream, especially as Vardy still won't be back next week.

Second half a huge disappointment but credit to Schmidt and PSV they tightened up and made it difficult to play, pretty quickly 0-0 looked nailed on.

Having said that all of our forward players were guilty of terrible decision making particularly Barnes and Dewsbury-Hall. Subs were dire too but lack of options to change it going forward

Don't mind that too much, tbh.

Played ok - didn't create much but were never really under threat.

Positives in defence, and no tippy tappy nonsense. Evans was decent, Little Wes is a little Rolls Royce (Baby Bentley?), Youri was deeper than usual so maybe not as influential as he could have been, KDH doesn't look at all out of place.

The rest were ok - good bits and average bits.

Honestly, after what seems like an eternity of clueless, wilderness football, I'm a little more optimistic.
