Kelechi and daka together next game, rest tielemans and ask him for a vintage game, 41212 and we'll win. At the least both of our st up front together please

8 Euro ties tonight 5 draws and 3 wins by the odd goal.

People need to realise how tough and tight games at this stage are.

The frustration isn't about drawing. It's the ridiculous decision to play with no striker against a side who parked the bus for the entire game.

We needed to win tonight because there's no way they're that negative at their place.

PSV very strong at home arent they? Or did I make that up?

They’ve lost more league games at home than away games (3). Including Feyenoord and AZ.

Lost to Monaco in Europe. Drew 4-4 Copenhagen

Barnes performance basically summed us up. Decent effort and looked ok until we got anywhere near their goal. All fart and no shit

It was a question to the PSV manager, very odd.

Guess they are in a Champions League spot in their league and so this competition is really useless to them …

I know they offered little going forward but defensively they were well drilled and Schmidt made an excellent tactical alteration with 2 screening in front of Youri to stop the ball going through CM

He used to hesitate too much now he is too selfish. Clouding his decision making.

The problem is we lack quality up front

Though we must have all said this a hundred times, the team never looks the same without Vardy in it. The difference he makes, even after all these years, is immense

I'm not going to slate the manager like some on here. I think it's a decent result. The main takeaways from me is: Dewsbury-Hall can breakup play further up the pitch and our backline is a different beast with Evans/Fofana (and Castange). Our backline anticipated passes and attacked the receiver, often cutting out balls and setting up our attack again. It's so good to feel confident in our backline. I still think we need one more CB back up (with Cags likely moving on) but that partnership between between Evans and Fofana is gold. I doubt we could have kept a clean sheet if they weren't playing.

For me, I think we need pace in the second leg. Start Daka/Lookman. Or, if you don't want to start then, bring them both on around the 50 minute mark. PSV crowd the box. I'd love to see how they'd cope with us when they're defence is stretched.

Also, Harvey Barnes had me pulling my hair out. He's bang out of form right now.

Biggest frustration is not taking a golden chance in a 1 and 1 situation, that's the level you are playing at, you many only get 1 chance like that.

Them coming out and playing is also going to give us more space.

Sooner or later he will hit a patch of form and be unbelievable. It's easy to forget he's still only 24 and his returns aren't bad, but with his ability he could be hitting near Mane type of figures in a couple years time if he can just sort his end product.

We were decent for the first 60 minutes or so. People who are saying that we didn’t create much: we had two *clearcut* chances in the first half - Iheanacho and Barnes. I thought that the substitutions were bizarre though, why did we play with no striker for 25 minutes? We had no out-ball and just wasted time / a key substitution.

Frustrating but they’re a very good side. Looked dangerous on the counter and were very well drilled. Having said that, we were also very solid defensively, Fofana and Ricardo both had excellent games.

Huge game next week and probably season defining. Kudos to their fans also, they were superb and loud for the full ninety.

Yeah that’s the difference in latter stages of competitions. PSV were not naive. Made one error and didn’t get punished.

Schmidt did a job on us tonight and won the battle of the managers. Set his team up well to defend and we couldn't find  away through them the only chances we got came from their mistakes.

I thought Sangare for PSV was the best player on the pitch tonight. Top player.

We really are not that good anymore

Far far far too slow getting the ball into dangerous areas and even slower at getting the players into dangerous areas

PSV wouldn’t have batted an eyelid had we won that 1-0 tonight.

Ian/Daka up front alone offer almost as much as what we offered when we had 0 striker on the pitch for that 15 minute period.

This needs to be sorted for next season as it’s awful. The only way we score is by a worldie or by watching and waiting for the opposition to make a mistake

Hold on… Rodgers is paid an alleged 10 mill quid a year. Why hasn’t Rodgers ‘done a job’ on PSV?

Wonder what Schmidt gets paid?

And you’re kind of implying Schmidt won the tactical battle?

Even if the parked bus had no windows or doors we wouldn´t be able to score.

What's happened to Tielemans. Looks miles off it. At this rate we will be getting rid of him before he bins us off.

....played deeper as required, with the double pivot, KDH was always going to be pushing forward to support the forwards!!!

He looks like he is adding work rate to his game and made one or two good passes to put people in space tonight. He has not been good for some time but tonight you can understand why his performance was not what you would have expected.
