If we beat these we'll pretty much have a game every 3 days til the end of May.

It might be good as we have (fingers crossed) players returning for long term injuries. Don't forget there's also a "strange" World Cup tournament this year. In addition English teams play on average around 4 friendly pre season games less than other European teams. BR might need to change the typical pre season approach this summer.

I think the majority of the team picks itself, don’t see any drastic changes in CM, expect it’ll be the same 3 as the first leg. I would go JJ over Ricky at RB, I like JJ’s extra pace and think it gives us more energy down the wing.

My team / expected team is:

                 Kasper

       JJ   Evans   Fof   Castagne

          Youri  Madders  KDH

Albrighton       Nacho        Barnes

Feel like this will be the line up but Ricardo in for JJ.

As much as I love our midfield 3 individually, I dont feel comfortable that they collectively offer adequate protection for our backline. Problem is who do you bring in and who do you drop? Youri is our best player overall but on patchy form, Maddison's is our best player this season and KDH is our best player right now.

As long as our final ball is better than in the last leg, we win this.

Leicester was playing better, but PSV at home is somewhat different. Especially in Europe PSV at home can be nasty. They Will attack a lot more with high pressure. The stadium Will be crazy to.

Just Saw a article Olivier Boscagli is injured hè is our best Defender thats bad news for is tho.

Anyway Leicester is a awesome club i hope to visit in the future. Lets have a great match and let the winner takes the whole cup!

Don’t worry I’m confident we’ll bottle it.

I'd probably go a little outside the box  (in an effort to avoid playing Hamza). I reckon Wes would be the best option in there and Soyuncu is generally at his best when next to Evans.

Schmeichel

Castagne

Soyuncu

Evans

Justin

Fofana

Lookman
Maddison

KDH

Barnes

Daka (surely they leave delicious gaps)

Am now leaning more towards this.

A big part of the reason we beat Palace was our forward press. Also the balance between Madders-Youri-KDH just didn’t seem quite right last week. So by bringing Hamza in means Youri and KDH can play more of their natural game, with KDH putting pressure on their CB’s and Maddison can play more advanced as he has been doing in that RW position. Felt he kept coming deeper last week where he wasn’t able to be as effective. So it’s a toss up between Albrighton and Hamza for me.

Still think Barnes will start given he was rested and can provide more of an outlet on the counter attack.

I think there are a few combinations we can go with like you. All have pros and cons. Everyone has their favourites but I think we have to envisage how we are going to play and pick the best people to execute this bearing in mind how effective individual combinations are. On Sunday kdh in particular stood out for his high pressing but Daka lookman and even Maddison did well also. Tielemans I felt was quiet but he likes to sit back and receive and distribute ball from defence or from those ahead of him in a similar way to Mendy. With Mendy not playing I think we will see more of this. KDH in his role roams like a box to box midfielder and Maddison is much more inclined to engage out of possession of late. Barnes offers more goal threat than lookman arguably but the latter does nick some crucial goals and works hard in pressing to win the ball and tracking back. Likewise Daka does use his speed well in the press. I can see Brendan with various combinations here. I would play maybe Justin instead of riccardo alongside evans fofana and castagne though for his pure athleticism. Mandueke being out does help a bit though down that right flank. I think one of barnes and lookman will miss out with maybe albrighton coming in for his experience and total commitment in all aspects. Likewise I don’t think we will see Daka and kel start together. Stranger things have happened though.

Tielemans has got covid. I assume that means he's out of tomorrow's fixture. Hmmmmm

Its a fake Jason Bourne?

Mad the effort folk make for this sort of stuff. Well strange.

Can even fake accounts become monetised or attract brands to do paid sponsorships? Seems super strange but if you can get paid for just making up bull**** then why not I guess. Probably not worth the effort to build up a following though, if it's even possible with a fake Jason Bourne account (no offence to the real JB, he seems like a top bloke and a good journalist).

With Fofana potentially not being able to eat or drink until after the game, what chance is there of a Soyuncu and Evans partnership tonight?

Also, could Big Dan be preferred to screen the defence as a DM as opposed to Choudhury? It's not ideal but he's played more than Hamza in recent months so should be more match fit but hasn't started the last few games so could be fresh and raring to go.

Fofana will be able to take on fluids and food just after half time as Holland are an hour ahead.

So weird how we get picked out for the early kick off...

Every away game in Europe for us will be early. It’s how it works.

Kick off local time is 18.45 and the sun will set at 20.31 so he'll probably have to wait until after the match.

I could understand making a fake parody account of say our useless PM, but Jason Bourne? Is it really worth the effort?!

we know PSV are going to be more aggressive and have more possession so I think giving PSV a different look will help slow them down so putting HAMZA in and pushing youri up or going to a back 3 or just not starting Barnes...whatever just contrast our 1st leg look. We are not in 'if it aint broke dont fix it' situation so BR has scope for a bit of creativity here but what do i know

I have a feeling this second leg could be 3- 2 either way
