Didn't watch the game so a simple question, as that was one of our better starting 11s, who wouldn't start next season?

Are you on drugs?

We are a million miles away from the top 4.

2 teams are light years ahead of anyone else, that leaves 2 spots. One of which definitely won't be ours.

Yes, but what's our ambition next year ?

Do you expect Mid table?

The only positive I can think of, is that we'll should get more Saturday 3pm KO's next season.

btw - when BT Sport showed Pereira standing by Abraham 10 seconds before the corner was taken, I thought to myself "he's not actually marking him, is he?   Please tell me, he's not.   Oh shit"

The decision to let him mark Abraham was bonkers. You could see his face light up everytime they won a corner.

Yeah, between 8th and 14th. We are so far away from where we were 2 years ago.

Complacency has set in and the management don't seem to know how to fix the problems.

I'd love the attacking football we played whilst being solid at the back, that's the ideal scenario.

I'd take being shit at the back as we are now, as long as we had some attacking productivity, which we don't.

I'd take dogshit football that bored me to death if it got results.

We're currently getting boring shit football, with no attacking intent, that doesn't get results.

What is the point of leaving three up for corners if the opposition only leave three back ??

if you leave one up then the opposition usually keep two back

so having three up against three leaves us worse off defending the corner where we actually only have vardy spare on the front post plus the man taking the back post and everyone else is man for man ….

at least leaving one up against two means there is a second spare defender in the box to try and block a run.  Taking the man on the post = the corner taker and front post man out of the equation - we are then left man for man.  We are shit at that …..

Rodgers is to blame for this tie being lost.

Not the Ref.

Ricardo 5 foot 9 up against a 6 foot 4 Abraham on a corner.

The game had 0-0 written all over it but Rodgers ****ed it up by persisting with Zonal Marking even though everyone knows that it does not work.

The reason for it is try and drag their players out the box hopefully leaving it with less players to mark when defending - let’s face it we’ve tried everything else.

What you want though is to win the first heading and then have a great chance of attacking (this happened quite a lot with Ranieris team) but really this team is just dog shit allround at winning headers no matter what we do

Same old by us really.

Was thinking to myself just before kick off what a great away end it was shaping up to be. When it kicked off in the ground, it seemed to kill momentum on the pitch and all the energy in the away end.

Hope the poor bloke who required medical attention is okay, cos that was shambolic stewarding.

Why the **** does Chris Smalling turn into prime Cannavaro when he plays against us.

Frustratingly, the current Rangers team remind me of everything I miss about the Leicester of our recent history.

We aren't all that this year but should be better. We cant make the europa conference league final and rangers are in the europa final with a great chance to make the champions league.

With the right fight, belief, system, manager you can do insane things.

I do think we have done well overall but we have fallen off big time the last season and change.

FA cup was massive but it hurts a little to watch a club like rangers in the europa final given our talented squad.

Credit where due, i hope rangers win the bastard! My neighbour will lose his mind haha.

Ps! Hope jose loses as i dislike the coont lol

How do u win games when u play pass the ball backwards nearly the whole 1st half . Then when we decide to go forward we can’t pass the ball to a team mate but when we do the player can’t control it or has it taken of him , we lack creativity in the midfield and players who are prepared to run at the opposition. Was a really POOR why to go out .

To get far in these particular competitions you need two things: talent on pitch backed up with appropriate tactics from dynamic backroom staff off of it. And my assumption here, marketability, which raises the likelihood of the sponsors and UEFA to want you to get further in a tournament.

At this level of the game, I suspect what we're used to in our past where you grow a club over time to attract interest from big name sponsors is inverted when it comes to these final stages of continental competition. The money invested is huge, they want big names; players, cities, managers on their big stage, because it draws in maximum attention from media and the public.

It's still an honour to have been on that stage. I'm left concerned that soon as our star names; Vardy, Schmeichel, Tielemans leave the Club in the next two seasons, and our brand inevitably takes a massive hit. Reaching this stage again, even this Conference League would be a dream.

Faith in the Club making the right moves, we've evidently some very intelligent & diligent people running the show. This upcoming transitional period will set us up for the next half decade; we could carry on improving our brand and playing on the bigger stage, we could slink back into a Southampton/Everton position or we could even fall apart, who knows. But I'm still proud of Leicester for what has come to fruition in these Rodgers years. Next season is huge.

I was annoyed I had to watch such an abject performance on TV. Imagine paying hundreds or thousands of pounds to go and watch that.

Sometimes, they really don't deserve our support.

Just sitting in the airport getting ready to fly back to Gatwick and to be honest I feel let down by that performance, at no stage did we give it a go, just went out with a whimper. No complaints about the result, perform like that and you deserve nothing.

Sitting on the plane home.

Another horrible late night / early morning combo.

I'm so ****ing bored of this football we play. Last night was so utterly Predictable.

I'm sorry but somebody needs holding accountable for this pathetic defending of set pieces.

Full strength defence, he's got nothing to hide behind.

Don't mind going out to a better team but we didn't, we went out because we are easy to play against...... Still.

I could probably get halfway there playing against us. We are a piece of piss to play against as a defender.

On the mornings reflection.

Only Wes, KDH, Madders and possibly Lookman can come out of the game with any pride.

The team lack motivation, they lack an emotional investment into the project. Last night you saw one team in Roma who wanted it, and refused to lose the occasion, and another who just turned up. Our performances reflect Brendan’s beige personality. There’s no fire in this team, no desire, they’re as flat as a punctured tyre.

KDH played a stinker compared to some of his recent performances IMO. Created an unnecessary corner that resulted in the Roma goal. Then rushed 3 or so shots which missed the target by a country mile.

England striker Tammy Abraham, who scored the winning goal in the second leg at the Stadio Olimpico, added: "Before the game started, the fans won us this game. We could hear them before getting into the stadium and throughout the warm-up.

Above sums it up....cant imagine any of our players saying that for any home game this season...
