StanSP Posted 6 August 2022 Posted 6 August 2022 I had no idea he was 30 either I thought he was 27 or 28. Damn, what were we thinking?!

Awful player, I just don't know how he keeps getting brought by prem teams? He hasn't worked in our system but he is a very good player in the right system. He hasn't played in the premier league and represented a strong national team being an awful player. 5
taupe Posted 6 August 2022 Posted 6 August 2022 It is in his best interests to go if he gets a decent offer of playing time. He's really not guaranteed to feature for us, not in anything other than a 'needs must' way. It's not his fault of course, I really don't know what someone was thinking when we signed him. It must have been the definition of 'panic buy'.
smudger63 Posted 6 August 2022 Posted 6 August 2022 Now stop it all of you, trying to put Fulham fans off of the signing of Super Vesty, just because we are so desperate to keep him at Leicesteer. To any Fulham fans that may be reading this thread, don't let all the doom mongers put you off Vesty. He is a fantastic player, great in the air and reads the game brilliantly, which makes up for his lack of pace. He was very unlucky he didn't get played much last season, but Brendan was clearly being blackmailed by our 3rd and 4th choice centre halves, meaning he was forced to leave Super Vesty on the bench. It was scandalous to be honest. So again, to any Fulham fans reading this, go back to your forums, make clear what a fantastic signing Vesty will be for you, and encourage all your fans to push your club to get this amazing signing done. 1
tsintskaro Posted 6 August 2022 Posted 6 August 2022 If he starts moving now, he will be in time for Liverpool game 1
Chelmofox Posted 6 August 2022 Posted 6 August 2022 I saw Vesty do a cruyff turn against Randers. The master at work. Fulham will be getting a skilful international who barely leaks goals for Denmark. Lucky lot Fulham.
lifted*fox Posted 6 August 2022 Posted 6 August 2022 came into a team that was low on confidence already and got off to a bad start, fuel on the fire, was done before he even got started. probably not the absolute train crash some make out and may do a job elsewhere. 1
Pliskin Posted 6 August 2022 Posted 6 August 2022 Any Fulham’s fans reading this, we’re gutted. He was incredible for us…. 1

Sly Posted 6 August 2022 Posted 6 August 2022 Vestergaard would have been okay for us actually in 15/16. That deeper lying, compact defence. The sort of tactics you need when you don’t have great technical ability to retain the ball. In that sort of setup, he’s a good player. As little space to run in behind and get turned. If we’d have had Huth trying to press up and spray it around like Pirlo at the back, he’d have struggled. Horses for courses and all that. No excuse though fof Vestergaard, for going from being a 6”9 foot bloke to 4”2 when needing to head the ball. For someone his size, he needs to be better at times. 3
adam Posted 6 August 2022 Posted 6 August 2022 What a great signing for Fulham. 😆 🤣 😂. Guaranteed survival now wirh the lamp post at the back for them.
urban.spaceman Posted 6 August 2022 Posted 6 August 2022 Would be a laugh if this was all a smokescreen for a new contract

Problem is with Vestergaard is here he has lost his confidence and he has no aggression.. The signing was always idiotic
