I’m not so sure we are. Statistically we were probably the worst team in the league by the end of the season? 

All they need is 2 corners to beat us. We played some absolute dog shite football last season. If we go out and buy a load more dross like last season we’ll be in trouble. Forest took the utter piss out of us last season in the FA cup.

I live in Notts and am at a big house with a load of forest fans I was the only one supporting Huddersfield like a pantomime villain, where they're all lapping it up, every time anyone says we'll be playing Leicester next year I'm saying call us by our full name you'll be playing Premier league champions Leicester next year.

....games such as these do not tend to have players at their best, far too much tension!!!

Much like cup finals, the day gets in the way of the quality of the game, the trick is to come away with the win, by any means.

Sickened to the core. 

 

, I'll be honest, the club has to react to the competition (like businesses do when a new disrupter enters the market) 

 

We've had a decade of total regional dominance. Junior teams from West Bridgford as mascots. Kids from.Grantham coming for their big day out. Silencing the middle aged vermin in Loughborough and Melton. Tourism tickets. Private Investment poured into the city itself after years of govt funding being pumped into their city (reasons unknown). Training and academy facilities that poach anything decent that moves in a 40 mile radius. 

 

That red filth will be all.over it now to claw some of those gains back. Strategically it's quite a big moment to actually have some competition on and off the pitch

You can't think much of 90% of our other seasons then.

 

In a 117 seasons we have finish 8th of better 10 times.

 

Since World War 2 only 8 times.

 

In the last 50 years 6 times.

 

In the PL era 5 times. (30 odd years)

Championship fodder most of their squad. Cooper has made them hard go beat which has got them success. I don't see them doing a Fulham or Villa abd spend £100m this summer.

Good to see we're calling them Notts Forest though. I've known Forest fans get really upset by that, for some reason.

Thanks for the history lesson. You forgot to mention we were in League 1 just 10 years ago and that we should be happy with our season just gone.

Exactly how I feel. I didn’t think I’d mind before but I don’t feel so sure this evening. It will be fine as long as we beat them and finish higher.
